Funny, I had the exact same response initially with regard to Keith Richards, whose most amazing quality is actually his continuing existence.

I feel that RS\'s list is a joke, so I have decided to put a list together of what real music fans feel. Feel free to give your input.

Crock\'o\'shite is right! Where\'s Jimmy Herring!?? Seriously.
-
everyone thinks electric, what about John Fahey or Doc Watson or Tony Rice?
-
This reminds me of a list publised many years ago,and the fact that John frusciante is only 18 on the list leaves me cold.He may not be a technical wiz but his heart and soul goes into what he plays......he just gets better and better!!!!!
-
Seriously, Jimmy Herring is better than Warren Haynes any day.
-
okaaaaay? apples and oranges styles are so different it would be a deservice to both to rate 1 over the other. Jimmy just melted my mind last nite w/ the Dead he takes them back to the energy of \'68-\'69 but I would love to hear the smooth lines of Warren\'s w/ them.
-
Warren gets soo much more recognition than Jimmy and this is why I feel this way....ever hear of Project Z?
-
Hell yeah. No, do not get me wrong Jimmy is amazing. His work w/ ARU, Jazz is Dead is freakin\' GENIUS. When both played w/ ABB it was the Shit!!! anyway I think we actually agree on this topic. Yeah?
-
Haha, yeah I think we actually do meet up in the middle on this one...
