yeah, that was sick. can\'t wait to hear the first set again. the intro jam before psygn was killer!
-
i\'m having a difficult time not being resentful about the fact that no one thought to call me and tell me it\'d be jordan\'s last show. i\'d have dropped everything. regardless, this looks like it was a great show.
-
^^dude relax, we all were hustiling our asses off to get there ourselves and it was on .info for the 2 days before hand....
-
i\'m not that bent out of shape. resentful was the wrong word, disappointed is more like it. i\'ve just been super busy and havent had time to check in here, no hard feelings, i\'m over it.
-
i knew it was gonna happen eventually so i figured i\'m making every show, i don\'t think i really knew that that was going to be it till right before i headed out
-
i was a little surprised at the number of people i expected to see (jim etc) but didn\'t. probably because a lot of people take vacation the week of july and didn\'t manage to work that into the plans, and/or were without internet access. i might not have made the drive either except that i was told it was only an hour and 1/2 ;). well ... 3.5hrs and $142 later (gas + tolls) ... im still glad.
the venue was super different and worth seeing in and of itself. more like 1/2 building 1/2 festivally. i guess you\'d have to call it an outdoor venue what with the gravel floor and glass-free windows, door-free doorways, no real stage, etc. the amish people riding thru town in horse-drawn carriage definitely added nuance to the whole experience. while the sound might have been nothing to write home about, the setlist made up for in my mind (sorry frustrated tapers;) ). highlight for me was bugs>karnevil 9 no real critical reason why just a very high point of the night and hanging out with a couple locals who\'d never heard the band, with everyone smiling and loving it.
-
everything that melanie said, but highlight for me was inverted see the light>jam>buquebus, I lost my shit. Venue was beautiful can\'t wait to go back
-
Buquebus - has an steve miller abracadabra tease. I knew i heard it at the show but was just confirmed by the recording
-
I\'d love to hear this Buquebus again, quite a gem, if you ask me.

I dont know for sure if it was or not....
but it felt and sounded like it at the time.
I know i RAGED harder than I ever have before and so did a few other people.
I even fell right on stage which is something I have never done and always been real careful of.
But it had to happen with the level of raging going on. people were falling all over the place.
It was fine though because there was a huge empty space with no gear and about 10 people helped me right up ahahahahah good times
I dont even feel like commenting on the rest of the show right now.
Had to be there.

-
be where? was I there?
-
I didn\'t see you but I met some guy, I think we called him Broseph all night, any way I still have to give him a call.....
-
Where there a lot of people at the show?
-
It was hard to tell, cause there were so many people outside.....
-
I would say no more than 100 people.
Me!, definitely give him a call, he was pissed last I spoke to him, can\'t believe that we would call him. He mentioned something about dogs. I don\'t know, call him.
-
Great show, absolutley wonderful venue. I didn\'t stay to camp, but the set up looked real nice. I am sad to see Jordan\'s departure, hopefully the other three will keep the groove on and build on their audience.
-
I know I wouldn\'t mind making a return trip up there, perhaps with a little more promotion so more people can enjoy. The camping set-up was cool. It\'d be nice to have a 2-day run there, then things would get really interesting.
-
dude we almost got kicked out after one night, dont\' get me wrong I\'d love it bvut that would be TROUBLE!!

almost is the keyword here. we still left Beardslee without them even knowing our names. Now, we also know about the cooler law. we still have a lot of room to walk. besides, isn\'t trouble our middle names?
no that\'d be danger.
-
fireworks??? what fireworks?? I have no idea what your talking about. :D :sarcasm:
Jeff Danger Dirzius?

Trust me it was definatley worth it........
