Are you implying that I take pleasure out of reading how pissed Wah is?
If so you\'re pretty much right.

ahh Just kidding. I know how much it hurts to miss a Mooboo\'s.
I have only gotten one and it took my body over!
It is funny though.

Wow, I think that was seriously the best Breakfast show I\'ve ever been to, and I\'ve been to A LOT of shows.  Sorry Freddie, but you missed a great one.  And I think Psygn is my new favorite song.  Last night was so insane, I can\'t believe it really even happened.

I usually think that for the most part that the people who go to breakfast shows are a little to over dramatic about shows, ya know like the people who say, "that was the best show ever!!!" after every show they see, anyway, not like its a contest to see whose been around the longest or seen the most shows (though i swear some think it is) but of all the shows i\'ve seen since \'99, i can\'t think of a show that was more intense or played so perfectly.  for the a small part of the ride up i swear that they had our car bugged or something because every single song we said we wanted to see, with the exception of a few was played, it was kinda weird.  for the most part i was totally sober so i was sure that my perception of the show wasn\'t exaggerated, and i have to say that it truly was the best show i\'ve ever seen them play.  i loved when the "staff" was sreaming at us to leave, rather angrily might i add, and every one for some reason started screming at the top of their lungs and this girl next to me quote the noble words of Brick screamed, "LOUD NOISES!!!!" i of course like a true tard had to add, "I DON\'T KNOW WHAT WE\'RE YELLING ABOUT!!!" in my opinion there were too many "best ever verions" to count, it seems that every song even the new ones, could not have possible been played better or the the band would drop dead trying...so, i will once again say, that was the best breakfast show i have ever seen, thanks guys!

I can\'t feel my legs.  That was the most intense, ape, barmy, batty, berserk, bonkers, cracked, crazed, cuckoo, daft, delirious, demented, deranged, dingy, dippy, erratic, flaky, flipped, flipped out, freaked out, fruity, haywire, idiotic, insane, kooky, lunatic, mad, maniacal, mental, moonstruck, nutty, potty, psycho, screwball, screwy, silly, touched, unbalanced, unglued, unhinged, unzipped, wacky, show I have ever seen.  I must have looked like Gencs by the end of the night I was dripping w/ so much sweat.

Everything about this show was perfect.
The crowd was non-stop :banwpoa:
as was the band. :banguitar:
The vocals were impeccable.  The sound, amazing.  The lights surreal.  Those sets were so perfect that everything I listen to from here on out is shit.  It\'s not fair!  I found my self looking like this ---> :banrock: very often through out the night...

Devo\'s front row raging was some of the best I\'ve ever seen.  You definately earned those Ruffles!  And I\'m sure you\'ll have some great memories of the adorable little guy that was trying to get you out the door.  So cute.

That may have been one of the quickest waits between end of second set and  an encore ever, it was obvious that the band wasn\'t going to be able to go anywhere.  Oh and there should be far more yelling at the top of our lungs as we leave a venue, that was hilarious.

Everything from here on out that this band does is G-R-A-V-Y.  That was the greatest single performance that I have ever seen.

OMG, I just read the first part of your post and I said to Chris "Who the hell is this asshole?" because I had just posted that it was the best show ever and I thought you were referencing me there and then Chris was like "Um, Ren is Brandon".  And then I read the rest of your post.  Of course you know I never say it is the best show ever and we\'re usually both laughing at Chris who says it after EVERY show.

:holyshit:
There are Breakfast shows, and then there are Crazy Freaky Serhead Uber-Rallies.  Tonight was one of those.  Unparalelled crowd energy.  Massive jams and lights.  Superb mix of new tunes, old classics, and the perfect cover.  My god, the trenches were crazy.  Props to the massive .info presence for lifting the show to level after face-melting level.  An absolute, no-doubt about it, smashing 10.

The band smoked everything, but let\'s start the props for 1st set with your captain, Dave Pecoraro.  He wrote a brilliant setlist, combining three classic standbys (Eppy II, Cut Me Some Slack, WUIAC), two great newer but established tunes (Doughboy and No Regret) and two new songs (Psygn, Future Peek.)  Great mix and segue opportunities.  Opening with Eppy II, a song that is usually a closer, really sets a huge tone and opens the door for potential greatness.  If you ever saw Phish open a show with Antelope, Harry Hood, or Split Open And Melt etc. then you know what I mean.  Opening that big sets a precendent that must be topped all night.  If the band fails to keep the pace then the show will be a letdown, but if they keep stepping up from there as the Breakfast did last night then you\'re gonna have an epic on your hands.  Pec\'s setlist dared the band to come out charging and take it higher from there, and they answered the bell.

Second set was circa 2000 all the way up until Tricky Ways.  STL was monumental and left no doubt that this second set had truly unlimited potential.  LDZ>HDX was raging, but the mid-set Simpleton is when the .info trench brigade really floored it into the red.  Everyone was jumping, fist-pumping, screaming, hugging, and dancing like they fuckin meant it.  From Simpleton all the way through the "one more set" chant before and after the encore the whole place was coming apart at the seams.  Nice work people!  You could really see the effect everything was having on the casual fans in the crowd.  Not only were they getting way into it, but they all had that look on their face of knowing that they were not at just another show by some band they went to check out.  They knew that they had stumbled into something very different and very special.  You couldn\'t have been in there last night and not known it.

*  *  *
On to the afterparty.  Thanks to everyone who came by!  A super-serhead gathering if there ever was one.  New York, New Hampshire, CT, Mass, and even California were all well represented.  The 5am guitar/sax jam was a huge highlight.  Galenas, sallyalli, Mia, Jule, postom, Todd, Freespirit, Peaches, Lexington, and ChrisF it was a treat to have you and your friends over.  And big ups to the headdy morning crew of mamlakabubadaya, princesscaspian, stevengencs, jim cobb, giavanna, Me!, and berzerker.  Also pre-show dinner was probably the most .infoers ever at one table, that was pretty cool!

What an end to a 3-night run.  I am beyond wiped.  Thanks to everyone who was in Burlington on Thursday and Friday making that so amazing as well.  I love you guys.  See you soon!

amen brotha. 5 am sax jam was a perfect outtro to a grimey show followed by a traumatizing ride back to your place.  speaking of traumatizing rides home, i\'ve been locked out of my house/sleeping in my car since 730 am. talk about the perfect end to a perfect mini tour!

Huge thanks to Igzi for sneeking me in! That woman at the door was a whore. Im happy she got owned at the end of the night...bitch. If i had missed this show i would have cried. Definatly an awesome time before during and after the show. Thanks to everyone. thanks to the band for an stellar 3 nights of music and good times. Last night was my favorite out of the 3, though little wing on 4/21 made me emotional. Damn, I love it here. :)

oh my god....so basically the last 3 days were BEAUTIFUL MADNESS!!!!  the band has kicked my ass: i\'m so dead tired and my body and brain hurts from crazy drunken raging but it was so worth it.  glad to finally meet the faces to the names that i see on the info board all the time!!  it was fucking excellent tearing the holiday inn a new one with everyone!!! :stoned: :beerban: :banflip:

last night was fucking OFF THE CHAIN- HOLY SHIT...i dont even have words to explain it, i kinda feel that way all the time after i see a show.  the rally at the end for the band to play another set + the mid east staff kicking people out was PRICELESS.  good way to end the 3 night run.  kinda wished i went to the afterparty but i think i would still be sleeping for another 48 hours, or maybe dead haha.

all in all, 3 nights of breakfast = success, and crunchy times.  :)

Quick question:  Wasn\'t that Wake Up in a Coma inverted?  At first I thought it was old school but then they played the phased out chord progression before going back into Mooboo\'s Voodoo, with extreme prejudice I might add.

best show ever.....well that I"ve heard seen....the segue between doughboy>wake up was perfect.  That Rufus had some cool stop/start jamming in it.  STL was sick, and intension is a perfect encore song.  Like tricky ways alot....as spacey said, future peak kinda sounds like a UM song, but I liked it alot....great night all around...crowd was wild....lights were on, sound was crisp but a bit loud...and 2 dollar miller light cans in boston, what a steal

MAN!!! what an incredible ending to an insane couple of days. while driving up we (Spacey, Antbach) were talking about the would be energy of the show. after partying like rock stars... literally for 2-3 days we were donzo. thinking everyone was feeling the same way we were expecting a mellow rocker... we had no idea what we were in for..... freak\'n mayhem. the most fun onstage and off stage antics I\'ve ever witnessed at a show. the music just lifted us all up beyond whatever we felt from the days before. easily, for me at least, the best show of the run. coming in from set break after calling for a STL and to get it as an opener to the second set..... I\'m so fried i can\'t come up with words for this weekend hopefully my pictures will tell the story my brain can\'t seem to get out right now.

oh, it was great meeting a lot of the .info crowd these past couple days, some serious stories were made this weekend.

def expecting a mellow show and had mentioned that to Ron fri night, he came up to me during set break and said somethign to the affect of "not what you were expecting huh?" I think he was as blown away as I was....

I fully endorse the WPOAC mosh pit. As the song started, I turned to Gencs and said "We should start a mosh-pit during this song, it\'s perfect!". Never did I think that it would turn into what it did.

The best part of the whole weekend was "One More Set!" being chanted during the encore break. I was like, "oh no, i do not need one more set!"

Until the brain starts functioning to complete capcity, today is going to be difficult.

Great second set, but I thought the first was a little slow.  Midset Simpleton was a nice touch.  I liked the show, but not as much as 4/20, that stands as my highlight of the weekend, musically.

You nailed that simpleton early Igzy, I second guessed you on it but you had it, I heard it all I could think was, the shows over already?  that was a really short second set, my immediate thought process when I hear SOS

Excellent show... good to see a pumpin crowd and good to see some good people again.
