Some Kind Of Jam 4 (http://www.jibberjazz.com)
Kempton, PA
(http://img231.imageshack.us/img231/4809/skoj4qf4.gif)
Some Kind Of Jam 4 will be a full-weekend musical extravaganza featuring 25 bands, 2 stages, late-night music, light shows, kids activities, food & craft vendors, fire performances, various workshops, and a sprawling 60 acre campground. This year’s line-up is the most diverse and exiting assortment of bands in the history of Jibberjazz.
Join us for a weekend of camping and music in a hassle-free, BYOB environment. Both stages are fully protected from the elements of weather. The outdoor stage rests beneath a huge pavilion which extends over the audience, while the indoor stage is inside a spacious banquet hall for a more intimate experience. Patrons may camp with their vehicles and each stage is in close proximity to the camping area.
Presale tickets will be just $40 and include a full weekend of camping & music. Festival tickets may be purchased directly from participating bands or through JamBase Tickets beginning January 2009.

YES! Pa McClenny\'s Downtown Washtub Losers. EPIC
-
^^such a wise ass! lol.
i\'m so in the mood to go camping right now.
-
Dr. Ketchup and Erik from Baltimore at the same fest!? truly EPIC
I love seeing the Breakfast topping any festival lineup
-
In all seriousness, I give major props to Jibberjazz for the festival poster, fantastic design. I really love the guitar rising out of the fire.
-
I would hope given the "Who?"-ness of the other bands that Breakfast would be headlining 2 nights. If so and if bfam plans to rage this one I might give it a shot..
I hope they play Up North again and possibly get a better time slot because I can\'t remember the last time I saw so many people rage Breakfast... not to mention Bobby Weir, The Wailers, Umphrey etc
-
The Breakfast will be headlining Saturday night...and believe me, there is plenty of talent on that line-up besides the Breakfast. We are proud of the bill, and believe this is the most diverse array of bands we\'ve had at any of our events. Million dollar headliners? No. But we\'re more about musical discovery and finding regional bands on the rise. Jibberjazz is a self-produced, grass-roots, non-corporate production company!!!
Over the years, SkOJ has built a loyal fanbase in the PA/NJ/Ny/Md markets. Last year\'s event drew nearly 1200 people utilizing all regional talent. This year...we expect plenty of new faces.

I am definitely going to this. One of my dear friends is in fact in Dr. Ketchup. Having lived in Philly the past seven years I had the chance to see a bunch of these acts and though usually a music snob, I liked a lot of them. MJ project is awesome. I used to see Splintered Sunlight often and they are a blast.. a fantastic Dead cover band. Codename and Jimkata also definitely worth checking out.

i\'m thinking about hitting this up. anybody want to carpool in the jeep

I was thinking, I could make it on Saturday. Any chance of getting a one night pass?
-

-

12-1:30pm Beaucoup Blue
2-3:30pm Mason Porter
4-5:30pm Hoppin’ John Orchestra
6-7:30pm Jazzam
8-9:30 Post Junction
10-12am The Breakfast------(the weather will determine all!)
Saturday Inside

So, I was wondering about the stage setup; if the weather is rainy, won\'t ppl mostly be cramming inside? I don\'t like the idea of TB competing at the same time with an indoor set of bands. Hey, who knows...
-
so who\'s going to this?
-
Does anyone know how much the one day passes are?
I tried their website but no info on that.
I am juggling with either playing in a frolf tourney on saturday or doing Sullivan Hall/PA fest. It should be a no brainer but funds are tight and I am just getting into a tournament frame of mind and I want to roll with it. Sorry, I know, too much info.
But I am jonesin\' for a show, or two, or five.
-
not sure. i was thinking some on here would know. i was looking to do red square on friday. then see the breakfast on saturday. but since i\'m already in PA now, doesn\'t think it will happen. probably just do the entire festival instead. saturday night bfast should be a rager.
