Sidebar is one of those places where everyone is pretty much minding their own business and basically anything goes......juggling fire, dancing girls, dancing guys, shooting bottle rockets off in the parking lot, ice skating down orange street at setbreak......basically anything can happen at any time at Sidebar.......it\'s a lot of fun.

sidebar is one of those places you go to when you and your 100% heterosexual buddy just polished off 3 bottles of wine at dinner and can\'t even form words, and you want to start a fight with the twirp who\'s in your buddy\'s face motherfuckin\' him up and down by grabbing his face in the palm of your hand and pushing him into the quasi-wall..
at least, that\'s what i\'ve heard...
oh, and the food is tremendous.

So I get there around 9:20, no cover. I order a beer, then ask to see a menu. The bartender gives me my beer but tells me the kitchen is closed. I\'ve got an open beer I just paid for so I pound it then go around the corner to Fresh Taco for something to eat. I come back 15 minutes later to find this jerk off setting up at the front door. Looking me in the chest, he tells me it\'s $3 to get in. I politely tell him I was just in there and why I left, and he repeats with hostility $3!
Not about to fight a midget over $3 dollars, I paid. However the Sidebar Restaraunt essentially charged me $3 to refuse me food.

i don\'t know where mark the shark was last night, but if he was there, food would not have been a problem. 9:00 cut-off on food sucks. hell, mark even went back and made us french toast one night around 1am...
i was supposed to meet ronnie etc down there, but had to be late. told ron to order for me if they needed to. turns out they barely got there in time to get a food order in.
no to mention the fact that the bartender brought us out our food and ONE round of drinks, then just completely forgot about us for the rest of the night.. apparently he remembered ron enough at the end of the night to go after him with the bill.. :rolleyes:

Whoever said I was a newbie can phuck off...I seen the b-fest atleast a dozen times...I don\'t like following bands like you stupid hippies that can\'t even get a decent job and afford to pay cover or tip the band...I rather play music than listen anyway...To all you that I met and re-met thank you for making the side bar a decent experience, and all you REAL people that were kicking it at the after party.
