so, i saw a raq facebook update that mentioned they would be making a big announcement during their set today at aura. my guess is that they will be announcing some other shows for this year. i wonder if the original drummer will be returning, or if adrian will be playing these shows. i thought i had heard, it just ended up being a scheduling conflict for him for this show... but who knows.
i also had a recent fb exchange with jordan, asking him about his viral sound gigs and where i could find them to post them on .info since they seem to be picking up steam a bit. his response was "that place still exists?". we went back and forth a bit, he basically said don't hold your breath for any upcoming breakfast gigs. now i don't know if that means at all or just not at festivals that are in bumblefuck county.
i have to say i found it strange that at the toys for tots gig in december where viral opened... he never ended up sitting in with kung fu, or anyone vice versa. it just always seems that when cyrus maddan is in the house he gets the guest key spot. i dont know if there is something of a rift that has grown or what... but i certainly hope not because those 4 guys together tear some shit up.
