one of my favorite places to see them too.. was at the DC shows in \'98, \'99, and \'00.. awesome venue..

I can\'t believe they changed the name to "Verizon Wireless Music Center." The DMB Almanac has a little caption on the venue description that says "Deer Creek. We know it changed to Verizon Wireless Whatever, but we don\'t care." Oh well, every band I\'ve ever seen there has still referred to it as DC.

Deer Creek is one of those venues that should have never gone corporate. Alpine Valley, Red Rocks and the Gorge also. Deer Creek was definitely a favorite and must when Phish was touring. Awesome place.

"everybody\'s got a price.."

Wasn\'t Deer Creek on an Indian Reservation or own by Indians? I thought I remember hearing this when I was out there.

agreed. Add greatwoods to the list, who likes the "tweeter center"?!?! But somethign i found humorous was the phish shirts released for the last tour read something to the likeness of, "Phish play the Great Woods, Mansfield MA"
Very classy way to cap off their last MA show imo. :awwyeah:

anyone else not able to download the soundboard?
i had no problem

I have seen those T-Shirts. It was nice to see them go back to the real name. Only good thing about the "Tweeter Center" was when Phish came to town, you were able to change it to the "Tweezer Center". And that\'s that.

I am going to try again to download the soundboard, maybe I just had problems with my internet connection yesterday.
Just downloaded it, took all of 2 minutes.

So how many of you have actually seen a show at the D Creek before? WSP next week will be my...10th show there I think? I\'m a youngun, my first Deer Creek experience was 2 years ago after I got home from France. I was 17 and still liked John Mayer, so I saw him with Counting Crows and ended up liking CC a helluva lot better.
-
I would say I have seen roughly 10-15 shows at Deer Creek off the top of my head. Without my stat card I can\'t give an approx. number. Great venue one of the best.

Why don\'t you feel like a friendly guy and burn me that show once you download it...I\'ll have blanks for you on TimmyTour.
