One of the better Breakfast shows I have been in attendence for. Absolutely on fire. The little 2-1-2, area code of New York City. Crosstown Traffic!, it was great, really high energy show. Best Beef Barley I ever heard. When I say these guys were on last night, it may be an understatement. They relly torn the place down. The crowd was decent. It was a beautiful breakfast in the city!

how was the team red bull light show

I have been waiting for lights like these for a long time. I realized that the lights were right on during No Regret. The lights made this show even better. Lights during No Regret elevated the song. Lights, Lights, Lights!!! WOO-HOO

It was nice to meet a few new faces, JimCobb, Bezerker and whom ever else I met.

Cult, \'Are You Ser?\' was in the house last night strong!

oh, ya, LIGHTS!

Last night was fuck your face rock and roll straight up all night long.....
The highlight was without a doubt Episode 212.....Best Ep 1 I have ever ever heard....  there was no containing it...it was just pure musical joy....
Drunk Monk and No Regret>Merge>PhaddyBoom was just out of control.....
The bands voices and playing were in tip top shape for last night.....

Regarding the encore...Timmy wanted to do Jumping Jack Flash, which, in my opinion was the right call, but Adrian negged it and called for the Rockin In The Free World audible....

All in all, it was another special and memorable breakfast show.......

Are You Ser?

btw, i cant even listen to live phish anymore. the jams sound elementary compared to TB... i never thought id say that about phish, but the truth feels great.

great show. 100x better than the last time at the Den..

highlights = DMB, 212, and Merge.. all superb. even liked the PBB last night..

ellis - nice rig.

great to finally meet klout, ellis, and pubertymonster.. also great to see a lotta folks i haven\'t seen in a while..

as much as i dislike the lion\'s den, i\'m looking forward to the next time they play there. we hit this sushi place up beforehand, and they had this \'challenge\' where if you threw down 48 pieces of sushi in 20 minutes, it\'s free. but you can\'t stand up, can\'t puke, etc... i almost went for it, but decided to enjoy a nice meal instead.. after eating some of their sushi, i\'m damn confident i could throw it down. :) bring it.

My memory must have slipped but, thanks to Gencs and Peck for the B-Day beers. I really enjoyed them. It was fun driving home last night. Not sure where traffic comes from at 3:30 in the morning or why I was stopped but, I guess thats the wonder of it all!

Luck was on my side all night. Found a parking spot right in front of the Lion\'s Den. The ride home was tough. Not so sure I\'ll be drinking and driving like that anytime soon. Well, Friday I will.

JJF would have been a much better choice. RITFW was smoking when they did it at the Knitting Factory but last night it did not have the same power.

The lights were a great addition. They were rough in spots but what do you expect for the first night. I know they will be phenomenal as time goes by. During the big jams I would love a little front light left on Tim\'s hands. The all back light look is very dramatic but I love to watch Tim work.

It was good to finally meet Wah. Thanks for the ticket offer. I wish I could have taken you up on it.

Last night was really sick.

I knew faces were going to be owned before the show even started. There was SOOOOOO much electricity in the air while they were setting up. You could just feel the heat coming like a giant thunderstorm.

The opening bands were good! I especially enjoyed DJ williams. Some nice tight funky shit. Kinda reminded me of Sam Kinninger band.

The breakfast just unstoppable. A few times I was so totally blown away by what was going down I couldnt even MOVE! All I could do was stand there and think "oh my god, this is amazing".

Great song selection, everyone totally in the zone and on fire especially JORDAN!

The first few songs had such a crazy sound to them with dobz adding tons of echo\'s and reverb to what sounded like pretty much everything giving it all just an amazing. very spaced out, but totally tight sound!

mooboos was the shit obviously.

"Guitar Intro > No Regret > jam > Merge > Phaddy Boom Baddy*"

YES!

before going into phaddy they did the NASTIEST dub reggae jam I have ever heard any band bust out including the biscuits who that stuff rather well. Too foul for words.  Thats what I have been dreamin about right there

Ellis-D was rippin it up hardcore too. Perfect job setting the mood, not over doing it at the wrong time, spot lighting band members, intesifying build ups, hitting all the ques and going totally NUTS at all the perfect moments!!! All the house lights and his intelligent lights and new board and a sick show added up to something really special and increased the intensity of the overall experience at least 10 fold.

Last was just amazing inside and out.

Truly fantastic.

Next level shit.

I give it a 9.6 without even hearing the tapes.

I no longer have any beef whatsoever with 1 set breakfast shows.

NYC is hands down the best city in the world!!! The boat cruise is going to be off the hook!!!!!!!!!!!

nice meeting ya Dave and steve and anyone else I cant recall.

I\'m out!

It\'s been SER!!!

See you all again soon!!!!

What sucks about the Den?  Layout of the room?  Prices?  Shitty staff?  I haven\'t been to a Breakfast show there yet.  I do know that the Boom Boom Room in S.F. rocks and hope the band comes back out here for a show there.  Great bar, normal prices, awesome bands and I\'ve also noticed that marijuana isn\'t necessarliy banned in the place.

it was good to meet you too.  the lights were great, although there was one point where it was a little too much for me to handle and kinda paralyzed me from dancing, but one moment of that is pretty damn good for the first time so kudos.

the lions den sucks because they get like 4 openers, so once a band starts to get warmed up and into a groove, their set is over.  thats why i dislike it at least.
