Listening to some of the Tribal right now (I recorded 20 or so minutes on my phone), sounds sooooo sweet. Personally I wasn\'t a fan of the overall house mix though...the bass just seemed well, too bassy or something. I stepped out for a smoke at one point and the whole fucking building was vibrating...that\'s alot of bass:)

I missed the encore unfortunately but I had to start the trek back to B-port or else I would of slept in my car in Hartford...note to self, hash will cut right through a 5 hour energy everytime.

LUPICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still listens, never comes.

Really good show last night.  Gotta love rockin Phish and Grateful Dead and Ronnie Spears and craziest lights ever and Mooboo\'s and Tribal all in one show.  I hope they get another gig here.  Tonight was also further evidence that Tim should be giving Trey guitar lessons, starting with how to play Phish songs.  Just kidding!  Step away from the reply button.  Really a very good show though.

I gotta admit that I was fucking spent by the time Mooboo\'s came around. And though it certainly seemed like the possibility of an encore was about as likely as a Prom \'97 bustout considering the time, Score rocked the shit out of the place and completely brought me back.

the bar there was horrible. only beer was what they had on tap, no guiness, no new castle, nothing dark whatsoever. elisa said the only vodka they had was absolute. Didn\'t even risk asking them wine. Their loss, I had money, it stayed in my pocket. I\'d rather stay sober than drink piss water. Also, they were not letting people leave the venue at all. Matt was able to "run out to my car at the bands request because I needed to get more equipment" and Alexi told the doorman he wanted to go to his car to "get more money" which they allowed. Other than that it seems like it was the gated smoking section or stay inside.

Yes. The only flaw of the venue, but a major one. Complained about it to all who would listen.

They had 3 different Hooker beers on tap, each of which was pretty good.  But on the other hand you\'re completely right, the mix is very poor and undoubtedly costs them dearly.  They have the room totally setup right for sound, lights, and comfort.  But they\'re completely screwing up alcohol sales.  I think any of us could take over the bar manager role there and double their liquor revenue overnight.

Well anyhow, I\'m glad this show happened because since seeing the New Deal PACK the Warehouse a few weeks ago, I was of course thinking about how I would love to see The Breakfast there.  I hope they can headline the main room again.  Or if they played the side room while some other good band packs the front room, it could be an amazing night.

I\'ll be honest, I wasn\'t that impressed with the venue.

for example; saturday night, the only ones there were like 6 people who came to see the other band in the side room or breakfast people. So um, where were all the regulars? It would be interesting to see what that place is like on a night when there isn\'t a band playing. plus it\'s in a crappy part of town (no offense sullys), and the awesome lighting rig that everyone loved is being rented from another band, which means whenever they tour there is nothing but a couple of color cans in there.

Thank you to The Breakfast for inviting KICKING DAISIES to open for them.  Not only did they have fun playing but I think some lives changed later that night.  I literally had to drag the kids out of the place at 1:15AM....(Todd saw me)  The kids were up front dancing to the awesome tunage!!  What an education they got.  All they talked about today was last night.  Duane...thanks for the CD....Duran almost cried when he got it.

The KD\'s are playing Daniel St. on April 5th at 3pm for anyone who wants to bring their kids.  It\'s almost sold out so let me know.

Thanks to all who checked out the band.

Yeah, it feels weird there if there aren\'t a lot of people.  I\'ve only been there twice (and both times maybe I wasn\'t in the most going-out of moods) but it has a bit of an odd/anxious vibe.
The band sounded incredible though, per ujjj.  Looking forward to listening again if any of the recordings came out.

Musically the band brought there A game. Tight and really motivated playing. They played with purpose and hung onto it all night. The Beef>2001>Barley was the highlight. The 2001 was spectacular. The Mooboo\'s was a great ending at 2:07 a.m. and it makes sense after reading Duane\'s post why they were able to play an encore.

The venue had good sound and a great light system. The place reeked like urine and stale beer. Threw up walking into the bathroom. Beer selection was piss poor. Few minor changes and that place is a great venue.

Breakfast should have never played there. Without a solid street team and some sacrifices be the fans and the band to do promotion or create some kind of buzz. They will never grow the fanbase. The more people hear the name and see the name around town the more common they become. Companies don\'t spend millions on advertisement only to piss away money.

The turn out on Saturday night was sad and embarrassing. The elevated stage had to make it worse to look out and see no one.

I understand that but...

Then what the fuck are we doing here?

If no one is willing to make a sacrifice to the betterment of the band then why pretend? Why don\'t we just let the dog die?

The band should just quit.

Why should I invest my time or energy into this band then?

Frankly, Saturday made me realize this painful truth.

The more people hear the name and see the name around town the more common they become. Companies don\'t spend millions on advertisement only to piss away money.

The turn out on Saturday night was sad and embarrassing. The elevated stage had to make it worse to look out and see no one.

These are the same kind of posts that have been made on .info since there was a .info. Just rinse and repeat.

seriously.

Sad thing is that we all realize it but even with our efforts nothing came to it and nothing will.

Fuck it, I am done!

The only people who should really be sacrificing for the band is the band. If they aren\'t gonna go out and drum up support for their band then why should anyone else ? The days of them relying on others to fill a venue has long since past (if there ever was one). One of the biggest issues I saw over the years is that the band doesn\'t self promote. They rely on other people to do it. They stick / stuck with an inner circle and let the dice roll.

There are enough fans in enough areas of new england/new york to start building a decent street team. We just need to get organized. If we could each do certain small things they would pay off and equal better turnouts. like Mark said, the local papers should be informed a month or two ahead of time, posters need to go up at near by colleges, promo discs need to be handed out. etc. Shits not gonna happen over night, its gonna take time and effort from all the hardcore fans who want the band to succeed. Make some kind of buzz about the band in CT, Boston, and Upstate since these are the home bases, and hopefully the crowds will slowly but surely get a little bigger each time. idk seems like a lot of this has been done in the past but it has consistantly NOT been done for a couple of years or so.

well, one of the best shows I\'ve seen in a long time.  I was goo on the floor after that show.  The Tribal wore me out, really drained the energy outta.  Mooboo\'s was unreal.  Loved the midnight lamp tease too.

What happened to the WPOAC Street Team?!

I\'m very disappointed in the turnout as well.  We all have friends... well, most of us ;) I texted 40 people about the show the other  night, and each of those 40 people could have also sent out a text to others.  Fans who are going to college could hang up a few promo flyers around the walls or bathrooms.  I remember when there were flyers that could be printed out for every show the band had.  I haven\'t seen any in a long time.  Facebook?  Myspace?  Promo CD\'s?  Local events/shows?  Let\'s pick just ONE of the upcoming shows and all put effort into promoting the schnot outta it.

Also, there seems to be a lot of willing fans, but just not enough time before show announcements to really make any progress.  Someone (like the band) needs to start being accountable & organized for promoting, or they\'ll never get any recognition. :/rant:

No way! I may be kinda new to it all but I am here and will support until I die. I am here. Use me. I am going to get up to Syracuse and make sure to get some word out. Pick a show, any show. I am beyond grateful that there are more shows on the horizon.

I hate to jump on the band wagon, but...

1. The breakfast were never on the venue\'s website calender!
2. Kicking Daisies were great, but their fans are under 21. This was a 12+ show.
3. Beatles A-Z probably did not bring in any more heads that weren\'t already going.
5. New venue, this small "local" base compared to Sully\'s
6. Cover was $15 at the door VS. Breakfast @ Sully\'s were $10. We are in a recession (for some of us). Not sure if it were a $10 cover it would make a difference anyways.
7. 90% of the fans attending were .Info-ers. The other 10% were .Info-ers that I didn\'t recognize.

I love this band and the best fans that really care!

I passed out and slept through the first half of this show, woke up, realized what a loser I was, and went back to sleep.

Shit happens. This place Warehouse doesn\'t sound as fun as Sully\'s anyway. I am pretty pissed I missed an obviously sick show less than an hour drive away. Only more incentive to catch the next one.

All y\'all having sudden realizations that the band "should just quit" after being a ser PB fan in many cases longer than myself... maybe it\'s not just about how many people make it out to each show. Attendance might not be huge for various reasons overall right now, but its known that there are more people there in spirit than ever.

But it is. People there in spirit don\'t buy shit at the bar and they sure as hell don\'t pay the cover to get in.

I personally do not think the band should quit any time soon. They have way too much music to create still.

I just think that expectations should be lessened overall by the fanbase here on .info until people start walking the talk and promote this band like they have shown they can in the past.

Until the band decides to tour again, it is pretty easy to promote the few shows they have.
To me there is no excuse whatsoever that the turnout was as poor as reported. There was PLENTY of time to promote the heck out of this show.

It sucks for me and every other fan of the band that is not located on the east coast.

I\'ve been a fan of this band for a good long time, and seen it from different perspectives along my journey.  The conclusion I\'ve come to over that period of time is that I go to these shows for one reason: to have fun.

I\'ve had my times of hope and frustration, and all the emotions between.  The bottom line being, it\'s not my cross to bare.

This was an incredible incredible show.  I had a great time.  It sucks that there weren\'t many people there.  But what\'s done is done.

If The Breakfast was a public company, here\'s the action I\'d suggest:

Have Leith stage a hostile takeover, tendering a $5 offer for 75% of all shares outstanding (there are only 4 shares) :duck:.   Current management/ownership approves the offer.

Now that he is the majority shareholder, forces the relocation of the The Breakfast Inc. westward and assumes managerial duties.

the sound guy screwed up. warren haynes reggae music is playing over my audio because i did a soundboard matrix and the sound guy left the cd/ipod playing in the mix he gave me from the board. i need a pair of headphones really bad.

pete the taper was there but had power issues, so i dont even know what he has. but we dont have contact info for him anyway. dave didnt tape. and we did video, but camcorder audio doesnt sound much better than cell phone audio.

never should have attempted a matrix. i bought a ticket online and just wanted to enjoy the show that night and not have to do any work. i got there and dave said he wasnt taping and there were no other tapers there when kicking daisys went on. matt\'s gear cant do a sbd matrix and he wanted one so i set up my gear behind the board.

there were a lot of issues and weird things going on before beatles a-z. turned out whenever the sound guy adjusted his levels in his headphones the audio went way up or down in the recording. i didnt realize the headphone level effected the stereo out on the board until the show had started, and when i told the sound guy what was up he told me he would give me a different output before the breakfast went on and it wouldnt change when he turned the headphones up. we did that, but he left the house music playing.  i have no headphones so there was no way for me to know that until i got home and played it back.

i was supposed to set up my mic stand with matt\'s gear for an audience recording, but while i was dealing with all that bs there was no time.

I have kens audio form his camera.  I just need audio where he flipped the tapes. or use your Pete source and fill it in wiht kens audio.  I have all the video on Hard drive, but I have been sick all week and could not work on it.
I should have ran audience with my rig, but with between ken, Chris and Pete we should have had it covered.  I think with Dave not taping, it threw everybody off.  I need to communicate with you guys better.  I should have the bass duo released this week.

Upload WAVs to archive and they\'ll mp3-ize it for you, no?

WAV > MP3 is usually the easy part of the conversion.

just go grab flac

add the wav files to flac frontend and hit encode. It will out put the same files in flac. That will allow you to upload to the LMA and they will convert the flac files to .mp3 for you if you select that option in the process.

this show was rediculous, one of the best ive ever seen. beatles A-Z opener, ronnie spears sits in, and one of the obviously epic setlists ever written by this band. hot damn!
