Title: The Last Waltz
Post by: oldnewbie on November 06, 2006, 11:30:01 pm
I own it and have seen it many times. I\'ve been at the firehouse tonight (not BAR  :(  ) and it has been on VH-1 with interviews with martin scorsese and robbie robertson. This film never ceases to move me. Watching it, turned down low, on a shitty TV, and it\'s still just as powerful as the day it came out. If you want to witness one of the major stepping stones to our type of music scene today....do yourself a favor and see this sometime. Certainly it means more to someone of my generation, but I sincerly believe it is the premier rock and roll movie of any generation. You may now continue on with you\'re regular programming.  ;)

Just saw Van Morrison and The Rolling Stones tonight, friend at work gave me a free ticket.  Pretty fun!
