Very, very nice setlist. Nice to see more proper 2-set-encore setlists coming out of this tour lately.
-
back to the future jam reprise haha
-
If Flagstaff is the same as I left it 13 years ago then this band should be a good match for the kids from the local university.
-
this looks awesome, hope tapes show up
-
No more Barley with Beef?
Setlist looks awesome.

Quote Gordo: "No more barley with beef?".
It\'s a new song - inspired by the Thai beef curry from dinner a few hours before the show. Where\'s the pinocchio emoticon on this blackberry?
Still not home yet - 10 hours on the road and a couple still to go.
Show was pretty packed - 3-4 times bigger crowd than the last Breakfast appearance in flagstaff in 2006. There is a room in the back where the band plays and a huge brewery room in the front with music from the stage piping on the speakers. People pretty much wandering back and forth between the bar and the show. Good reception from the crowd and a couple of ser dance parties. Lots of kids there were shouting out the names of random breakfast tunes. Saw derickw\'s twin at the bar and gencs/ellis can verify the claim. A group from the night before in phoenix decided to trek up for a second night. This whole tour I\'ve been surprised by the random breakfast song requests from non-.info concertgoers. Definitely a success and there were a solid couple hundge the whole night - great to see such well-attended shows back-to-back in a state last played 2.5 years ago. I hope the band follows up on this success in the near future.

Breakfast and PBreakfast have always been a diamond in the rough in AZ. Flag def has the more heady population than in Tempe-town, due to the remoteness, small town feel and greenery of not being in the butthole of the desert I assume. Can\'t wait to get back there.
It has seemed to be true that TB has made an impact on the scene in the state that is not going to fade away anytime soon. I still cherish the memories of doing the 3 night, 3 city (Tuc, Tem, Flg) runs with them when they\'d come.
Hope everybody had fun and that some recorded tunes will come from all of this.

they are really rockin\' it out for strikers last tour

you mean his last half tour

The two venues they played at are probably among the few heady venues in the entire state (I\'m just making an assumption) of overwhelming desert and strip malls. The Mesa promotion team did a great job recruiting Keller people for the show.
The Mesa show was taped though I do not recall a recorder in Flagstaff.
you mean his last half tour
Bezerk - was Flagstaff the show you were shut out of on the 2006 tour?
-
no i got shut out of the show that was across from the bay in that tiny town/bar

Mill Valley - Sweetwater Saloon
A tight trio show!

The Over Exposure was my pick - I made it known that I had seen 5 straight shows and needed to get OverExJOEsed before driving back home.
-
ok, so do we know if "back to future jam" was \'Back In Time\' or \'Power of Love\'?
long live Huey Lewis! and the news. and since they are real songs, i think it should be noted at the song and not \'back to future jam\'. but what do i know
-
totally agree with you, colin. unfortunately, when the band is on tour, details are very sketchy and hard to come by.
-
i hope it was back in time, and this was recorded....one of the greatest movies ever made
-
i hear ya. i was just saying. i love huey lewis and would KILL to hear them cover Huey Lewis. so i am intrigued
\'Power of Love\' is the better of the two....
-
They did not play any Huey Lewis. More like a spacey intro to Overexposure with \'Back to the Future\' movie lines thrown out among the guys, mainly Tim and Chris. I doubt a tape will surface, no taper was spotted by me.

me either....and i think chris screaming " it\'s written all over your underwear" was prob one of top 10 best moments of this run....i noticed some ser onstage chuckling after that. what a blast
