Great show!  I give it about and 8.4 out of 10.

this one totally made up for the boat cruise being sub par and then some. they got into a real funky groove about half way thru and just stayed in it the rest of the show. really tight and energy crunched. RAGIN bb, not your run of the mill beef. always glad to hear sleeping beauty. the highlight was deffinitly Puppetry->DoughBoy->Puppetry. ya gotta hear it ...not even gonna try to explain. Overall it was a rippin show and I got my fix for a while. Soulive was also real good afterwards. Raq was boring after that.

The crowd big for a show at echo lake. The whole pavillion was pretty filled up. about 200-250 watching the show. Lots of kids throwing down real hard in the front. There was nice house light rig set up and Ellis D rocked it. I think there was like 8 intellis and and grip load of big parkans and multiple hazers going. looked sick tho.

there were multiple tapers there but I dunno who or where/iif the shows will be posted. i\'m keepin my fingers crossed tho this is deffinitly worth a second listen.

Chase, Fresh Cut, Jam>Drunk Monk, Jam>Puppet>doughboy>puppet, (one of the new cover songs), sleeping beauty, jam>bb, jam>tab00

or something close to that.

peace

went back to echo today to see the duo who RIPPED it. Those guys never bore me. Always the perfect sunday band at any festival.

After the duo was done the sound guy threw on the sbd breakfast show from last night. (said he had to hear it again) I talked to him about seeding it and he said he was going to put it on archive when he got a chance. I dont think the band will mind it sounded like a great recording. Deffinitly wanna hear it. If the quality is a bit off maybe someone could make a matrix if a good aud surfaces or adjust the levels if it sounds too dry or something liek that.

talked to ronnie after the show last night, he said that they really brought their A game to Nugroove.  He said he "almost" thought they were gonna show up Soulive, then they took the stage and started droppin\' funk bombs left and right.

IMO The Breakfast Brought it 10x over Soulive. The whole show was killer and had great intensity. Ellis Brought it on the huge light rig. No one else had that. He figured that shit out and raged it hard. People were going crazy. In the beginning it was me and Klout jumpin up and down, by the end there were another 50 kids jumping up and down. Ellis brought it especially from the Puppetry-> Doughboy, he hit the cue perfectly with these bright green and blue lights. It was ser!  Soulive was tight as fuck and Krasno Ripped it. Raq was....................bla

the soulive show was typical of what they have been doing this year and last. Very upbeat and funky and in your face. they did a nice instrumental mellow mood and I started a sing along.

but of course the breakfast was better.

They brought thier "A" game as ronnie said.

There were deffinitly lots of people going nuts too like spunk said.

Deffinitly won over some new fans with that one.

I cant wait for that sbd

nice little review ripped from jambands.com general m.b.:

"so i went to nugroove music fest in afton, new york this past weekend, did not know what kind of scene to expect, large, small, no idea. Showed up and the place only expected 500 max....fuckin great....the scene was all about good vibes all about the energy great people. Friday night, started with magner/hamilton, for me at least, good chill set for pre-slip, slip came on and just added to the nice chill/party scene, then came on bro.s past, whioch got cut early, but still great time, very intimate venue to for show, able to chill the bands real easily after their sets.....next day started early for me. saw u-mellt which was arite, HIGHLIGHT OF WEEKEND and one of the most fantastic shows i have come across so far, THE BREAKFAST, pure great energy, through my whole life ive been lsitening to the moody blues indirectly due to the fantatic lives my parents lived, they busted out a fucking rockin "Story in your eyes" cover and that was fantastic, hats off to The BReakfast too bad they dont come out to Ohio, really talented....SOullive was a fuckin party, busted out the horns, really trippy funky shit, not what i as used to hearing, but great, this weekend really meshed genres yet alot of the bands were incorporating the livetronica into their music, really cool.....for their last couple tunes they brought out the kick-ass drummer from breakfast, who also plays a mean bass.,....dont really remember much raq except last song, pretty fun....sunday.....i caught some of somebody\'s closet, really chill folky-soounding, ,the chick in the group has a fantastic voice....the dup was the shit, just what i expected, the last couple hundered hippies standing were in for a pretty improvised set list, with marco chuggin moonshine halfway through....great show....great job nugroove productions..."

don\'t think Adrian played with SOulive.. but that\'s not the point of this post

my first breakfast show :D

they were definitely one of the weekends better acts.

and not to be that guy, but wtf was up with RAQ doing a cover of JUMP that sounded exactly like the record? since when did jamband fans wanna hear exactly precise van halen covers? lol
