no, there wont be any jambands.com bands playing, i dont think, but there will be some cool snowboarding to watch for free in NYC feb 5-7 . On the lower east side they are building this huge 90 ft ramp for a Big Air competition on thursday feb 5 with pro snowboarders like Travis Rice and Shaun White competing. There are other things goin on throughout the weekend but this looks really cool.

San Francisco creates a ski jump on one of the steeper streets in the city each spring, bringing in man-made snow for the occasion.
