I: Escher\'s Etchings Part 1 > Fresh Cut, jam > What The Funk > Tribal Funk Affliction > Surreal Radio > May Fly Disarray > Tribal Funk Affliction > May Fly Disarray
II: Psygn > Wake Up In A Coma > Peaches En Regalia, No Regret > Cosmic Spaceway Rhyme, The Late And The Great > Overexposure > Escher\'s Etchings Part 2
Thanks to bezerker for the call!
-
now that\'s how you start a tour. That first set is a funk monster! wtf>Tribal>surreal>mayfly>Tribal>mayfly. Gives me shivers thinking about it.
Any word on attendance? I hope the word doozie doesn\'t start showing up again.
also, note that bezerker made the call, so he\'s still in the van as of the end of last nights show :P

i think that\'s assuming too much!
anyways, this show looks sick. talk about starting off with a bang! my jaw dropped when i looked at my cell phone this morning. keep it going, boys!
-
looks pretty ser.
Like how the show is sandwiched between Escher\'s. Has the makings to be a fine 3-weeks on the road.
-
damn boys, bring it!!!
-
don\'t mean to be the bearer of bad news, but what a dooze !! 26 paid.......middle of mid term week kept most kids home studying. bad timing really
-
Fuck doozies. As long as the shows on the weekends are just as epic, this will be THE TOUR that we\'ve been hoping for since 2002.
-

d\'oh!
-
how cow what a setlist!
-
damn.. iowa sounds like it\'d be such a happenin\' place on a tuesday night too..
-
I can\'t believe only 26 people got to see that.
Well, I supoose probably a few more than 26, but still...
-
i wish i had made it out there, but it just didn\'t happen on a Tuesday, esp. after getting home from the NE late Monday night.
-
daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I really thought this show was going to be packed. :sigh: Didn\'t know it was midterm week though
-
eek...better luck next time.
Damn fine setlist. Keep it up boys :)
-
It\'s only Iowa, not the world\'s most important market for music....
Still sucks though...
-
Look at this way, of course Iowa is not an important place, but it is where you stop when you are driving to the cool the places...so rather than sit in the van or in a dingy motel...the group most likely picked-up 26 new fans. Best wishes for a kick-ass tour.
-
Even though not many of us were at the show, it was excellent! I had a great time dancing....I was just sorry to see how few people were there :-(
-

Is 26 worse than the Canada shows of January?
-
Yeah 26 :( I was bummed to see such a sliver of people, but with crappy weather earlier in the day, mid terms and a tuesday night put aside everyone there was stunned. It just agravates me that the boys are playing so amazing and it\'s just the start of the tour. I really wish I could catch the second half.
Regardless, I dug the setlist. It was nice to catch a few of the newer tunes and kick it with a smaller crowd.
Also, I managed to get a half ass recording that I\'ve broke down to mp3\'s. My recorder shit out for the the end of Late and Great + Overexposure > Escher\'s Etchings Part 2. If anyone has an FTP site I can toss them onto I would like to share what I do have. I\'m behind a firewall at work right now and have never uploaded to anywhere other then FTP sites so I may have to be walked through this.

Glad you had a great time!!! Welcome aboard!!!
-
Welcome Iowans... Thank you for supporting the next KISS.
-
most of the shows ive been to up in Rochester/Buffalo have been \'doozies\' by every definition of the word - maybe the reason why they dont come back :banghead:
mid term week only means spring break next week!!!
:thewave:
-
I wish I was still in college...
-
i wish i had finished college
-
i wish i wasn\'t paying for college for the rest of my life.
-
arent most mid terms just another test anyways?
still sounds like a good setlist. cant wait to hear tf?tfa>surrealradio>mayfly..... well the entire first set basically. i mean what a helluva way to kick start a full-blown out tour. im sure this will be the first of many steller performances by the band as long as they continue to gather new fans at every stop this will likely lead to HUGE things this summer...
keep on..keepin on....

last night was my second time seeing the breakfast.
christ are they talented! i love the dark riffs and overall powerful sound. the jams are some of the best i have ever heard.
i was smiling most of the show, sitting comfortably in my seat, doing the seat dance. it\'s a shame more peeps didn\'t show up for the master shredder fest, as it were.
my mind was blown a few times. and, at times, i was seriously contemplating whether the band was actually playing, or if they were merely blasting pre recorded material and faking the motions. i dont know their names... but guitarist blows my effing mind. his effects are beyond me, and when he is boomeranging my eyes were melted down to my lips. i need to learn these guy\'s material.
*goes to look for quality sbd\'s*

fuck me in the brown eye.
off the top of my head Psygn was the only repeat from their last ICYC show.. i love that they take that kinda shit into account. they did the same thing with their last two chicago shows.
this show looks soooo good, escher\'s is at the top of my list for unheard tunes too.. fuck! after listening to Late>Overexposure yesterday, unreal! bless this band, bless yoooouuu!!!!!
-
when was the last time they played Cosmic Spaceway Rhyme? Feels like I have\'t heard in a while.

2: Can you teach an old dog new tricks in 2006?

This show is not really a doozie if you have 2 or 3 new forum members, and knowledgable new fanatics who are way psyched up by the show. That is better than a room full of random people off the street who don\'t fully appreciate what they\'re seeing and won\'t remember the name of the band.

Dave your auto-Peck welcoming machine was probably the best thing that happened to this board....
-
Nice Escher-Wich, and I would blow off any midterm to see a show if it were close enough. I caught tB @ The Living Room when I had a Saturday final a few years ago.
