It was at Osiris in Ansonia. I\'m not as in touch with the Breakfast music as most on this board are, but it was some very good music and I look forward to hearing more in the near future. Pretty sure Ken taped it all.

I think it was a very last minute thing.
Wednesdays at Osiris is supposed to be a jazz night.
There were maybe 5 people there.

As a fan, I kind of was expecting an announcement yesterday. I love Ron as a bass player, but the band has to move on, and the first big step (besides finding a replacement) is the announcement that we are all waiting for. Let it out to the public and start the hype and excitement for sully\'s (would be nice to start the show off with a nice bass solo).

I am just curious as to why they have not announced the new guy. I am stuffed way up in Rochester NY as far away from Breakfast land as you can be and i know who he is. I am not letting the cat out of the bag but for it is not my place. i will let the band decide when the time is right. Can\'t wait to see a show with CD layin it down.

we need to be capitalizing on any extra possible hype to get more people coming out to shows. i hope the guys are working on something as we speak. i would hope for an official announcement by the end of the week.

Animal said that this trio of him, matt and the bassist will be playing every other Wednesday.

The bass player is going to be named very shortly. Things are getting worked out. He has been in the Breakfast for about 2 months now practicing.
Animal said that this trio of him, matt and the bassist will be playing every other Wednesday.
The fact that the band is practicing again quite a bit and going over songs they already have down pack so the bassist can learn them is only a good thing, especially considering matt has only been in the band a couple of months.From what I\'ve heard it\'s been mostly going over the songs themselves but they are going to only get tighter and more fluid by practicing a lot and this side project trio will also help in strengthening the core of the band, the bass/drum lock. No offense to any other instruments, but if your bass player and drummer can\'t lock down a rythm, it doesn\'t matter how great your solos are, you will sound like crap. Adrian and the new guy getting a bunch of practice and side shows in = :thumbsup:
Also, I know who it is and I didn\'t even have to blow anyone lumens. :shrug:
