I agree, this setlist looks nice.  Bequebus and Honeybutter standing alone, perhaps 2 epics in a row...and I like the looks of Surreal Radio into Doughboy.  I hope they built the energy into some power for the last two tunes.

What a great little festival this was. I can\'t wait to see what they do in the fall or for next year.

The Fesitval site is a working farm. they have horses and a nursery and fruit picking etc etc. I thought the grounds were great. The folks who put the festival on had wooden walkways to help traverse the little spots of mud (obviously caused by all the rain leading up to the weekend) I thought it was nice gesture.

The Sound System was TOP NOTCH. Meyer Sound System, really really really nice choice. For a festival of this size almost unheard of. That system was pushing ALOT of air. 2 large arrays comprised of 6 speakers each and 2 huge sub cabinets on either side. very very nice

The Breakfast set was short and to the point. Buquebus was epic. I turned to kyle right at the start of it and was I betcha this is gonna be 15+ minutes. It was awesome. People were getting down. We all went upfront to enjoy the set. Lots of folks came down to the stage area just prior to the boys taking the stage and during the set. Good amount of people came up to us and siad they thought that the Breakfast was the best band to play all day so that was nice to hear. I managed to get 4 or 5 pints in me before their set so that was cool to. usually I have to drive some palce so it was nice to tie one on.

Beer was a little pricey $5 pints. the beer was pretty good but I thought $5 was a little high for a festival but no lines and plenty of space so i guess its a trade off.

Stanton Moore Trio was gritty and nasty. Go see this trio. It was just nice. they played a KILLER When the Leeve Breaks (instrumental). I am really into that NOLA sound and he can serious play the drums. Slide guitar and organ player. very cool and smooth.

Keller was his normal self. I have seen him a buch and it was pretty par for the course. He had a good sized crowd and people were digging it.

Blues Traveler put on a very very good show. The sound was spot on for them. they played some very rare tunes and Poppers vocals were just amazing. Kyle was telling me he has been working with a singing coach and it really seems to be paying off. He vocals at the last 2 shows were chilling to say the least. The show had a lot of energy. Not as much as Toads but Toads was the tour kick off.

All in all a hell of a venue and really great time. I would definitely go back w/o a doubt

You\'re welcome Derick.!  I had fun, the Breakfast and Blues traveler all in one day is certainly a highlight day for me.  several folks heard the BKFST for the first time at thsi event andi know some were "instant fans"
