Breakfast Covers Database

I\'ve got a comprehensive (I believe complete) list of covers performed by The Breakfast, as well as the original artist, original album, and writers.  I just need help filling in a few blanks...

I am looking for the original artists for the following songs:
Adagio
Blue Ridge Mountain (maybe Blue Ridge Mountain Blues by John Fogerty)
Chicken, The
Come Softly
Lurk
Mr. Magic
Olympic Theme
Say
Shades of Time
Tatanka
Women

I also need album and composer information for PMDTV by Mokijam and Recycle Now by Uncle Sammy

Thank you much...

Adagio -
full title: "Adagio in Gm"
Origional artist, Tomaso Giovanni Albinoni (1671 - 1750)
This song was covered by the doors, and used in the movie. The band plays this version.
Following the movie, they play it in Am, not Gm.
Adagio is simply a term that means \'to play slowly\'

?? Mister Magic - Grover Washington Jr (This may be a Magic song, band before Moki jam)

?? Bugler\'s Dream/Olympic Fanfare And Theme - ARNAUD NOEL LEON (Have to hear to compair)

Heres some more that you dont have info on they are the two circus songs played at the begining of set 2 on 10/31/03:

opus 68 march the "Entrance of the Gladiators" (Vjezd gladiátorù) Written By: Julius Fucik (1872-1916)

(The Darining  young) Man on the Flying Trapeze Written By: Joe Saunders (George Leybourne) (1842-1884)
Traditional

I think tatanka is a rhcp cover, its just a really fast punk riff. PMDTV stands for something like "phantastic multi dimensional television"
"i heard that after he crossed the finish line he proceeded to wrestle down and pin a full sized grizzly bear"- ds673488

"if i listened to the distance on repeat, i\'d be wearing yellow jerseys like a motherfucker" - zuke

Chicken, The was written by trombonist Fred Wesley of James Brown and Maceo Parker bands.  Maceo Parker recorded the song on the album Mo Roots.

We had a discussion before about the Olympic theme author, I came up with it and posted it here.  You\'re the one compiling the list, you search the forum.  :P

cool  idea,  I would like to see this list when it\'s done.

I\'ve sent the list to Dave.  There are still a few question marks, but I\'ve done all of the searching that I can.

A few notes:

Songs only played as jams (Inca Roads, Rift, etc.) have been listed among the covers as "Song [jam]" (i.e. "Inca Roads [jam]").

Songs only played acoustic (Working Class Hero, That Would Be Something) have been listed "Song [Acoustic only]"

Songs only partially played (White Wedding, Pinball Wizard) have been listed as "Song [short version]".
