i enjoyed hearing the b-fast play the simpsons theme song
and thanks for the rides paul
-
if you dont count all the cartoon jingles, they only played 5 songs here

yea, there were some really nice jams at this show. the hard luck was great but hilight for me was the beef barley. completely sober, just listening to it actually started freaking me out. I almost had to leave the show for a minute, it was really intense. That\'s NEVER happened to me before with anything in music.
well, other than magma albums, but that\'s a give in.

Soooooooooo
was TUNAGE played at any of the shows? Didn\'t see it on any setlist..
Despite not recognizing cartoon themes often, and despite what very very little I remember of the music from Iron Horse (thanks Capn Morgan 100 proof ;), I still think cartoonage was a cool, original idea and i hope the band had a lot of fun with it..

So... did the crowd like the band? How was the turnout?
-
Did the crowd erupt in a shrill, high-pitched sing-a-long of the sponge bob theme?
[that experince is the worst thing about going to hockey games these days]
-
big crowd sing along was for ghostbusters. There was a lot of jamming and not much singing prior that point, and after a huge hlh jam to come out in something they recognized seemed to be a relief to the locals. The energy jumped up a whole new level on that song. people were really into the show, but it was a smaller crowd of people who enjoyed, but did not know the music. OE def scared some people off the floor.
great show.

People were definitely digging the band. Turnout was good, ok, not a dooze. Place was pretty packed for the opener who was a funk band whose members I assume go to Oberlin. Lost maybe like 30 peeps right off the bat, but a good chunk stayed all night and raged it. Beef, The Sound, HLH, Metropolis, and OE were all monster jammed out versions, which owned the shnot outta the n00bs in attendance (which I would guess was probably 75% of the crowd - less than I thought it would be) and the cartoon songs were funny and well recieved.

Maybe they were just tuckered out. Some people just can\'t hang. Sallys.
