Wireless router problemo

make sure to hold it in for at least 30 seconds, brah

then unplug it for like a minute before turning back on.

Different routers require different amounts of time since I don\'t know what kind yours is I don\'t want you to try just pressing it or hold for 10 seconds because that probably won\'t work.

Grab an ethernet cable b4 you get home if you want to be extra sure you got net access tonight. good luck
Put the pointed pencil in the pepper-po and take a little sniff of the things below. :sadban:

google:

"Reset the modem from the back, you will need a needle or something, wait until it turns on. Then go to http://192.168.100.1 type on user: *admin* pass: (the HFC MAC ID as password you will find it at the back or at the bottom of the modem) ex: 0015a3e9570f. Remember is case sensitive, good luck. :)"

That stuff after the reset is what you have to do to put a new WEP key on there. If you just want unsecured wireless for the moment you shouldn\'t have to worry about that.

Here is the manual for your router, check out page 14: http://broadband.motorola.com/consumers/products/SBG900/downloads/SBG900_User_Guide.pdf

wish you the best of luck gav, I know you\'ll get all your work done on time!

I have not been happy with our wireless. frustrating. when the phone rings it bumps you from the web, spotty connect-ability, I can\'t wait to get a regular line going. :banghead:
