Post by: psychjosh on May 18, 2010, 10:04:05 pm
I never did the PT thing. I wouldnt hate it if you phantasy tour folks talked up KF on moes boards.
moedown would be quite the hoot for Breakfast and or KUNG FU

has been done.  check the archives.  there\'s a pretty recent thread that is raving over them since their Jersey show.  There are other worlds that can be tapped, but so far, myself, eric, colin and others have been doing plenty of kung fu hype.

is there a cohesive list of just future kung fu dates i can post?

after seeing it for myself, i have indeed been pimping it. the westcoasters seem to like it as well.  even gil in pittsburgh is a fan. which is tough to do.

all of newton crosby will continue to push the Fu! they were a blast to hang and play with.  cant stop listening to this \'Green Earrings\' from Mexicali.

i also sent it to my buddy jeremy in san fran who is the guitarist in Big Light, he too is a fan.

PT moe. is more than covered.  how is PT Bisco coming db fans?

josh - how about a sampler cd of some sort to pass out at the Utica shows?  put some decent artwork with it.  print a stick on label.  make it look moderately profess on the cheap?  thoughts?

The biggest feedback i am hearing is that people can\'t hear it - nothing on archive... which is fine, but streaming online video is the most accessible but that doesn\'t work for many and doesn\'t have the sound quality other mediums would.

Indeed. We have some decent audio we can put together for a cd sampler. I\'ll try and have 1 ready. Anyone have a tower that can burn?

I have no idea, I\'m horrible remembering people\'s names, but I\'m sure we would recognize each other if we haven\'t......and not on PT

I like the LMA idea, whoever proposed it.  Would get me thinking about Kung Fu more often, even if they are unlikely to play shows in my area.

d00d I haven\'t seen them since Jeremy joined but the new album is good. Big Light is good good stuff.
Had a nice talk with Fred about how influenced he is by Stephen Malkmus after the first show I saw of theirs.
