Should be a great night for acoustic rock and roll tonight at Richters in beautiful downtown New Haven, Connecticut.....
Come see Tim Palmieri bring down the house....
Come and laugh and drink with the usual Wednesday night suspects (and hopefully some new faces)
And dont forget to bring a fried banana sandwich (for Tim) and some speed (for me) to comemmorate the death of an American Legend and Global Icon...

"Seven lonely days
And a dozen towns ago
I reached out one night
And you were gone
Dont know why youd run,
What youre running to or from
All I know is I want to bring you home
So Im walking in the rain,
Thumbing for a ride
On this lonely kentucky backroad
Ive loved you much too long
And my loves too strong
To let you go, never knowing
What went wrong
Kentucky rain keeps pouring down
And up aheads another town
That Ill go walking thru
With the rain in my shoes,
Searchin for you
In the cold kentucky rain,
In the cold kentucky rain
Showed your photograph
To some old gray bearded man
Sitting on a bench
Outside a genral store
They said yes, shes been here
But their memory wasnt clear
Was it yesterday,
No, wait the day before
So I finly got a ride
With a preacher man who asked
Where you bound on such a dark afternoon?
As we drove on thru the rain
As he listened I explained
And he left me with a prayer
That Id find you"
The King baby......
PS. Spacey....I believe the taco celebration will be sometime in November....

I have only one request and that request is rather simple and since I never make or have made any song requests for Tim, all I ask is that Suspisious Minds not be played until my arrival.
-
How bout a Death of the King/Birth of the Queen Wegwich?????
Suspicious Minds > Material Girl > Little Sister > Like A Virgin > Little Sister > Material Girl > Suspicious Minds
-
see if you could fit..."that\'s alright mama" in there. ;)
-

Things to celebrate today:
Booing the yankees:
1920 - Ray Chapman of the Cleveland Indians is hit in the head by a fastball thrown by Carl Mays of the New York Yankees, and dies early the next day. To date, Chapman is the only player to die from injuries sustained in a Major League Baseball game.

Chris, with all of the efforts you make to attend, promote and record on TT, he should definitely spend the night fulfilling your requests and paying tribute!!

Numerous claims of \'best 2nd set ever\'. Good job Gencs for turning down the lights @ the beginning of Mooboo\'s. I know it was prob to set the mood, but for me it served as a \'you might want to stop talking and pay attention to this\', for wich (heh) I am thankful.

how\'about a little recap, maybe a fragmented setlist, something for those of us stuck outta state?

:that:
-
Okay, I was hoping someone else would answer the call, but here\'s a very fragmented setlist in no order what so ever:
Baby Bitch
Dani California
All Shook Up
Mooboo\'s>Are You Experienced> in to a ridculous jam maybe something else in there, back to RU, back to Ep2 completely jaw dropping etc.,
Hide Your Love Away
Paint It Black with the intro played an octave low,
LA Woman,
The Wheels with what I think was You Can\'t Always Get What You Want tease
Fly Like An Eagle
What It Takes
Thank You (falettin me be mice elf) - last song of the night
a bunch more stuff I\'m forgetting particularly from set 1.
-
taintface has a setlist but youll have to wait til he wakes up to get it on here............ and second set was raging, but theres no way that was the best set of timmy tour ever, no offense
-
The Wah-Walsh Wednesday Weg-Wich was the best weg-wich in a very long time and has rekindled a some of the lost love I have for Mooboo\'s.
-
Best second set in the history of Wednesday nights.......
1st set contained the Elvis classic All Shook Up and set 2 opened with The King\'s That\'s Alright Mama....plus the second set also had What It Takes by Aerosmith......The energy in Richters all night was unreal.
