Title: homepage question
Post by: obsession600 on October 12, 2004, 09:22:27 am
I am wondering which forums do not get listed in the "in the forums" box on the main page. I am also curious how they were chosen for such status.

Thanks

the \'in the forums\' section simply lists the last 15 threads with the most recent posts (from all the forums).. the \'active\' threads, if you will.

Any way for each user to customize how many threads it displays?

unfortunately no.. i can change the default of how many threads are displayed.. right now, it shows 15.. i couldn\'t see going over 20.. it\'s really just meant to be a quick summary of the most recent posts..

not sure if you know about it, but there\'s a way to view ALL active threads since your last visit (if that\'s what you\'re looking for):

I used to use that feature all the time. Now with the sexy new homepage and the relatively slow pace of the forums I have grown lazy.

Oh, and before anyone else says it, "Getta Room!"
