Northampton > Oberlin = 597 miles
Oberlin > Burlington = 645 miles

How does that make any sense? Maybe crescendo meant to put 10/3 instead of 10/31? Is this Oberlin venue the sickest place for a Halloween show ever or something? I\'m so confused, lol.

omg rev hall? that would be godly

i brought about 15 heads to the FO last year. I could probably at least double that number if it were at rev hall this year.

that would be the perfect spot. good sound, good cheap beers, rageable hotel right around corner, great central location for all NE fans. right on the way from noho to burlington. good lot scene. great place for a halloween party. seriously PERFECT.

I am prolly just dreamin though :(

the promoter for rev hall is not convinced on our draw for a headliner.sorry, money talks and b shit walks!as far as webster, last draw was about 150 or worse and sounds like with any less than 600 so in other words soary chip.we need new markets for this band to be sucsessful on tour, this is a possitive thing.next year we plan to tour a LOT.so enjoy the 2 shows because there goin to be SER!

I sent Tim a list of some places in the Saratogs/Albany area.  There really just isn\'t any where in Albany but Valentines and The Square.  There are a few places in Saratoga Springs...It\'s Confidential, The Parting Glass (TLG and others have played here) Cafe Lena, Gaffenys, Northern Lights in Clifton Park. I would promo the shit out of these shows.  College is gonna be in full swing again.  It\'s always busy in downtown Saratoga.

Oberlin has a well known music dept. those kids are probably pretty hip.  The breakfast should find out what tunes their orchestra/big band/jazz ensemble/any other on campus group are performing and tease them throughout the night.

Agreed, Oberlin is one of the best music schools in the country so exposing the band to music heads from across the nation will be a very good thing for the band. I think there is more potential to build a new fan base there than webster or toads which will just bring in alot of people who have been fans of the breakfast for the last n years.

http://www.oberlin.edu/oberlinmusic/catalog/

Check out this page, there\'s 5 CDs worth of music to tease.  I don\'t think that they necessarily need to play something that the Oberlin band is playing.  An extended Adaggio or a composed Zappa tune (say from 200 Motels) might go over well.  That being said, the band is there to promote their music, so why not stack the deck with fan favorits and give them a variety of tunes to introduce them to the band.

saratoga is redic.  they could also prob get a gig at skidmore if they wanted.  i remember rane played two shows there one night - one at the bar on campus, and one at a house party.  except for the fact that by the time they showed up for the party the cops had already shown up and it was shut down.  either way we had a good time ;)
