Title: 9/26 higher ground show???

this date is listed on crescendo but not here.  an old buddy of mine is having a house party in jamaica, vt all weekend and i\'d love to plan ahead and catch a VT breakfast show. is this happening??

I saw the same thing. I don\'t think it\'s happening. Higher Ground\'s website has tickets on sale for the 11/1 show, and crescendo is also listing 11/1 at the HG. The only thing that makes me think it could happen is the HG website says Barefoot Truth with TBA at the Showcase Lounge on that date, and of course the night before is Albany so it\'s doable.

I doubt this is legit. They never get booked two consecutive months in a row at HG. If this turns out to be for real though, I hope to be there.

eh...turns out jamaica is 3 hours from burlington anyway...in the wrong direction

Here\'s what you do:

1. Download a Breakfast show that you haven\'t heard and didn\'t attend.
2. Go to Higher Ground on 9/26 regardless of who is playing.
3. Get a beer, put the Breakfast show on in headphones, and close your eyes.

It\'s just like being there!

Also, if it makes you feel better, there is no need to feel like a d eater for this.  At least you never drove 2.5 hours to a show.....  A WEEK EARLY.  Not that I know anyone who ever did that.

haven\'t gone a week early, but did go to the hampton beach ballroom when in fact the show was in hampton, VA.......my friend who told me about it and drove is an idiot

heh.. i actually went to a show a week early this past saturday night. whoops!

also showed up to lollapalooza with an enormous backpack and a tent, only to find out there was no camping. :sadban:

I\'ve worried about that before; that\'s why I am so particular about scheduling dates and getting very specific directions. It has been horrible not knowing where exactly a venue is, then arriving late and missing the first set. Thanks to maps and online directions that are bogus or outdated!

Hot damn! well thanks fo clearing that up...i\'ve been puzzled, but just hoping and praying that this date was real....oh well, guess i\'ll have to wait til November :(
