What\'s the problem with it?

What\'s the problem with it?
just a guess, but they got into a funk of playing it every show around the middle end of \'05. i think a lot of people got sick of it.....i know i did.

it\'s really not as bad as I make it out to be, it\'s just a little
1. overplayed (well it used to be)
2. corny as balls!! (and yes balls are corny to anyone going to ask)

corny as it may be BB is a fun tune, it\'s not a snoozer and i heard some great jams come out of it in 05\' that you can not deny
i like Future Peek regardless

BB was a huge jamster in \'05. Future Peek has yet to captivate me. It is getting much better in that it is a great set opener and finishes off hard. Future Peek will be learning the hard way!

And I\'ll vote for Beef just to balance out the chi (life force) of the tournament, thereby negating your vehement post against this song! ;)
(in other words, I\'m voting for the Soup)

^^which ties things up..... :shakes fist in air:

i gotta put all the amazing BB jams i\'ve ever heard aside, and vote for the song itself. FP it is.
-
If they didn\'t jam Beef Barley the way they do there would be no point in having the song. I\'m voting against it as much as I am voting for FP. Another new over old.

I have to admit that I was slightly concerned about this bracket going in, but that just shows what the bracket-meister knows: it\'s turned out to be the best in the first round, hands-down.
I mean, this matchup right here isn\'t even over. I did a lot of tossing and turning before voting Beef Barley last night and it\'s just one vote down. I think a tie would be great for drama and really is the sign of a tremendous matchup. I just love two different songs from two different eras getting a similar number of votes. It\'s what the tourney be all about. The winner should engage in a close one with Doughboy, which got everything it could handle from Simpleton before distancing itself.
And there\'s another bout still up for grabs with Drunk Monk leading Surreal Radio by one with less than an hour on the clock. Semi-similar tunes, different eras, still tight. Great, great stuff and I\'d expect the victor to challenge Escher\'s big-time.
Over Exposure vs. Coma turned out to be an all-timer. I\'m not sure what\'s more impressive: that a new song beat a classic that goes back to the band\'s larva days or that a few-minute instrumental nearly knocked off a tune which offers bucketloads more from a compostional standpoint. Either way, Over Exposure vs. Scheme is a marquee second-round matchup. I just got a funny feeling about that one. I\'ll gladly expose my vote.
