Favorite Shows of 2005
« on: September 15, 2006, 07:46:55 pm »
I am always curious to check out shows recommended by experts on the subject, so here on .info I am curious to see what some of the better shows of 2005 were.  This curiousity spun off of reading the Best Show Ever post, with a nice list of early shows that I dont have in my Breakfast Vault.  But I would appreciate the dirt on 2005.  I want to hear what you all have to say about this year, what shows were standouts.  I have just a few b-fast shows under my belt, all west of the Mississippi, and am looking for wisdom from the die hards out there.  Thanks.

## with Jed Cordell on trombone; with balloon war; with 2 female flashers on stage.
@ Tim on ukulele.
@@ with \'Third Stone From The Sun\' (Jimi Hendrix), \'Top Gun\', \'Inca Roads\' (Frank Zappa), and \'I Can See Clearly Now\' (Jimmy Cliff) teases.
$ Thought 1: "The Puppet House Rocks" (x3)
Thought 2: "Welcome Gregg Ellis to the lights for The Breakfast!"
Thought 3: "Balance! Balance!"
$$ with vocal jam intro.
% Adrian on guitar/vocals; Tim on drums.

A weekend I will never forget and nearly dead sober I thougth I was tripping all night long.  The Buquebus to this day is the point of comparison for for best Queeb\'s ever. As I said that weekend: The Puppet House is the candle that all shows will be held to.  And atleast for me it certainly still is.

Ans as Spacey said: you could feel the page turning.  < ab-so-lutely!

Puppethouse 8/20=One of the most amazing shows I have seen by any band.

Utica in Dec. if I could remember more of it would be another one. I do recall a sickass Quality Control Jam though! :)
