So I have been trying my balls off to get Adrian sponsored by Zildjian pretty much as long as I have know about the breakfast. In my opinion Adrian is better then most of the drummers sponsored by them. I am putting in an order to get my roommate some cymbals and i figured, especially after seeing his set the other night, that I will get one for Adrian too. So there\'s the question. What cymbal would sound best on Adrians set? Maybe some new high hats? crash? ride? china? I only have a few days to decided. And yes I know any new cymbal would be great but lets be smart about this and find the right one.

Thats a great thought, however cymbal preferences are usually entirely up to the drummers taste. You probably are best off asking thatguy what he\'d like. I primarily like most Zildjian over Sabian and Paiste, however thats not to rule all of them out! Each company has a series or a specific cymbal that might be better than competitors... but imo, Zildjians are the best the best of those 3 companies.

They\'re usually studio cymbals, you get the impact of the crash sound, but the resonance of how long the cymbal vibrates is drastically diminished so it doesn\'t cover up other sounds in the recording process...

i will..talkin about broken shit,the boston show i broke my main tom head 2 songs into the set!so i\'ll have new heads for hartford.oh and if anybody was wondering if i needed a cymbal..hhmmm a 22 in. constaninople high bell ride.:drool::dance2:

without looking, i think those cymbals go for about 400 dollars a piece if you get a good deal

Tim hated Adrians hat because as he put it, it was always dirty and sweaty and smelly, etc, etc. I can understand, I mean, look at the amount of physical activity adrian is putting out, night after night all getting absorbed into that hat.:wacko:
The sweat is what held that thing together for so long!

It is on order and should be at my house in roughly 3-5 days. I don\'t think it will be making an appearance in NY but it is a possibility. What I do know is i want to be at the first show with the new metal. anyone anxious? dare I ask what cymbal would be your second choice? no way it could be as expensive, hahaha.

Get him a zil-bell or something like that. like on matty J\'s kit. its an affect i always thought he would use a lot. Plus i believe their relatively inexpensive, as far as zildjian customs go.

List price is not always how much they are sold for... do some research on various music websites and see if you can find it cheaper. Musical instruments are always ridiculously high with list prices!

I can guarantee i am not going to be paying anything near that price. More like three something, but it is def one of the more expensive cymbals i have seen. and its going to be worth every cent. George did you find us any floor space for the NY run yet?
