phil ripped it so hard on may fly. killer shredding.

The galdys was massive.

the turn out was serly weak sauce.

musically it was nothing TOO mind blowing except the may fly.

on to bingo.

Jeremy Wall is from Spyro Gyra, who happened to be sitting in with Rezi that night, the crowd was pretty good, they sold about 220 tickets I believe

What a cool ass venue....  A great night indeed.  I thought the crowd was decient.  It thinned out throughout the second set.  There were a lot of unfamiliar faces there getting down, and I guess if you arent used to this band they will most definitely wear you out somewhere in the first set....

This show confirmed a couple of things for me....
1.  I am officially a "Save Side Fo Life" guy.....  I spent 90% of the first set right in front of Ronnie getting down.  He was on fire all night.  The groove never even came close to stopping.
2.  I am officially done worrying about new tunes for the time being.  The way they are switching up songs and setlists is refreshing and really displaying thier skills as growing musicians.

I thought the inverted Taboo rocked....
The 3 Jam >\'s were amazing.  The one going into No Regret was so structured, I thought it could have been a new tune....
MayFly was ser indeed.  2 Stellar sitin\'s
Jam>Coma was where I lost my face.  SER FACE OWNAGE and then some.
Gladys was funky and spacey. 2 Stellar sitin\'s indeed.
But my numero uno highlight of the night and possibly the year was the Mommy encore.  I was thinking Score or maybe LDZ, but not even close.  They started the beat slow, and Tim was getting everyone to try and "follow the backbeat", it was fun, and then it rippppppppppped into one of the sickest tunes I have ever heard....

The sound and the lights were amazing.  Revolution Hall is a place I hope to be back at again very soon.....

What a sweet 2 night run.  Iron Horse was sick.  When was the last time the breakfast played a 2 song encore????

Without cheating.....what is the capitol of Missouri?

fun show...great venue..unbelieveable mayfly w/ phil sitting in. interesting to hear an inverted taboo. loved rezi\'s set!! one of the few bands i have seen open for the breakfast that i have thoroughly enjoyed watching. hope to see you guys again, nice to meet you phil!!

also, i am so sick of this stupid state capital bullshit. i can\'t understand how a latenight festivity turned into a horrible horrible game like that..it might also have to do with the fact that i lost a $10 bet to adrian on the capital of new mexico...does anyone else think it should be albequerque? i sure do.

aside from the terrible state capital test and typical heab vs. guinea arguments that went down, i really really enjoyed watching davepeck and adrian attempt to light their farts on fire..definitely got a little out of hand after a while though.

also, thanks to jim cobb for driving my car from the venue to the hotel for me :)

That Jeremy Wall jam owned me.  I\'ll have to listen to Mayfly again, I missed part of it whilest smoking a butt.  But without a doubt in my tiny little mind, Mommy What\'s a Funkadelic the best tune of the night.

i honestly do not think this show was as good as anticiapated.  the first set was cool with the broken up hlh, great big firey ball and inverted taboo.  after watching the footage of mayfly off of chris fitz\'s camera last night i was blown away by phil\'s talents.  he can riiiiiiiiiiiiiip.  i definitely needed a second look at that to fully appreciate it.  2nd set could have been better, it seemed kinda short to me too.  overall it was a good show, but i still think iron horse is the winner.

the second set was the usual \'we got on the stage late, and we jammed out the first set too long, so we\'re gonna have to play an abbreviated set two.\'  nothing really wrong w/ it, it just seems to be a semi regular occurance.

I have said it before and I will continue to say it until this band makes me say otherwise.....  "the best breakfast show I have seen has always and consistantly been the last breakfast show I have seen"....

The only exception to this statement in the past 6 years for me has been the weak-ass lions den show from a couple of weeks ago.  And the venue was THE ONLY REASON that I felt that way.....

by that token, shouldn\'t your top 5 breakfast shows list consist of the last 5 shows you\'ve been to?

AHHHHHH.....Peck you are so smart, its hard to get one by you.....I was waiting for someone to call me out on that.....  But believe it or not I do have a logical answer....

When I say that the best breakfast show I have been to is always the last one I have seen, I mean just musicially.....  In selecting my top 5 shows of the year, I factored in everything from getting to the show, pregame, the show, lights (if they weren\'t broken), latenight, etc....

PS. At setbreak, I was walking to the parking lot w/ Spacey w/ our "Are You Ser?" shirts on when someone shouted to us, "are you guys .info?"....  "Yeah.", we replied and this skinny long haired kid came walking up to introduce himself....  It was Find Yourself...

Just been listening to this one and couldn\'t believe the boys actually had Jeremy Wall sit in with them. We\'ve often dicussed sit-ins and collaborations, but this one is probably the  highest profile sit-in I\'ve heard of. Feel free to correct me, but how often do you get million selling artists sitting in with the band? Lucky coincidence he was there maybe, but he sat in for a monster jam - shows mutual respect. Now we need some press coverage of things like this.

Jeremy Wall lives and works in Oneonta NY. He is a music professor at SUNY Oneonta. Phil, Eric, and Jason from Rezi all studied under him and played in a college credit funk band with him in addition to playing the last 4 or so shows (rev hall being one) with the Rezi. He loves rezi and the breakfast. He has been at and sat in on every oneonta bfast show. He even came to at least a couple of the after show jam sessions and rocked out with us. He is a cool guy. We call him JWall. He lights up the keys like woa. THat glady\'s is totally off the chain!!!!

some press coverage of that is a good idea.

Next issue of breakfast Digest....

Headline reads:

"Grammy winning Funk Legend Jeremy Wall Meets Galdy\'s Pimp"

is anyone else planning to submit a review to the digest of this show?

If not I can take this one. If yes then put that jwall shit in there!
