The All About Zuke Thread
« on: August 26, 2008, 08:41:20 am »
i work 40+ hours every week...not in bars/music venues...not doing the thing i love to do...i rarely get handed beers while i\'m doing my job...the male:female ratio at work is slightly worse than at a breakfast show (and much worse than BAR)

where\'s my thread?

I know that I bitch and moan A LOT, but seriously?  This site is about the band, which Tim is a part of.  In addition to writing most of the band\'s (song in the past), he\'s touring with The Breakfast, playing many solo shows, playing with The Good Time Boys and doing The Beatles cover thing.  Do I think that the thread that this came up in is a big chocolate covered snow job, yes, but if anyone deserves it, Tim does for this series of shows as of late.  I don\'t do what I love for a living; most of the world is the same, including you.  If you\'re that unsatisfied with your job, quit and do something you love.  Hell, buy a farm and raise Alpackas!

i think you missed the point of my post. we should all be so lucky to get paid to do what we love 7 days a week...and obviously there\'s all sorts of toungue-in-cheek going on in that thread

tim should absolutely be praised for doing what he does...but because he does it at an incredible level, not because he works a 20 hour week

also, you spelled alpacas wrong

zuke has done it all at such a young age:

from dancing w/ glowsticks in a .jpeg image to coverring phish w/ gfunk on youtube, he\'s become a regular internet legend.

this man is highly deserving of his own thread if not his own message board.

Musicians, Professional Athletes, Movie Stars... all get more praise than the average joe for doing something that we would do for fun in our spare time.  That\'s just the way things are.

And Peach, I know, I know, I\'m a jerk

we all have jobs...we all work hard....we are all rock stars...i think that the name of this site should be changed from thebreakfast.info to the bitchfest.info...
maybe the sun will shine today...
the clouds will roll away..
maybe i wont be so afraid..
i will understand that everything has its plan...
either way...

I\'m pretty sure that "fantastic" is the word that I\'m looking for...

And don\'t mind Yoda, he\'s just trying to draw our attention away from the "According to Yoda" thread.

If it makes you feel any better, your thread is better than this one.
