The DJ from PLR was advertising shows as he announced the bands at last Nights Blues Traveler Show. Just prior to Blues Traveler taking the stage He ran off some upcoming shows and really gave a shout out to The Breakfasts upcoming 1000th show. Great reaction from the crowd as well when it was announced

I have some of the New Tour Poster in my email. If anyone has the capablity to print these out and hang them up, PM me and I will email you the file.
Handbills will be out in a few days, the same way.
So if anyone is interested in doing some promo, PM me with you email. If you have access to a printer at school or work and won\'t cost you anything to print a few up at a time it will be appreciated.
I will be making a few 1000 handbills this weekend and they will be ready for distribution. Also, if people want to make some samplers, I encourage it.

Gordon/Kottke got out early enough for people to hit Richters, and Bar is better suited to handle a crowd. Could give new people a nice teaser.
I think Toad\'s is also making discount ticket passes for 21+ as well, but that\'s not confirmed yet. With a few heads willing to do a little work on show night
this could easily bring another 150 people. I\'m def. on board.

Cosmo- I\'m planning on being @ CODA w/ plenty of reduced ticket passes (which are free). Present your reduced ticket pass at the door on the night of the show for reduced admission. ($15 goes down to $10) Don\'t worry about purchasing tix in advance ($13). Toad\'s cap. is 750, and I\'ve seen 1,500 @ Widespread Panic. If we get even close to 700, everyone did a GREAT job promoting.
*These passes are only good for 21+, the idea is that club will get the $ back @ the bar.

so, I am going to Staples this morning to pick up the 101 b&w and 101 color flyers I got made up for the Toad\'s show. Roughly about 808 copies. I need places to drop them or shows to get rid of them at. If you have any ideas let me know. I am also going to talk to the person down there about printing off some of the Tour Posters and putting them in stores. Like Billard Halls, Liquior Stores, CD and Head shops, etc. If you know of a place that would like to hang one of these posters let me know. They will be printed in color.

I have seen Toad\'s Place tickets in some of the most peculiar places. Like in gas stations in the middle of no where, in delis and even, yes, music stores. Music Stores are a great idea in the sense that most people who go to the stores appreciate music on a different length then some of us, so it is a way to capture an unexpecting audience.
I personally really think that what needs to be emphasized here and at this point has not been, promotionally is, 1000th Show. Need to create a buzz and transform the idea of a show in a party. People like parties. Even if you are not a huge fan of the band, hearing about a 1000th show is a milestone even a donkey could figure that out.

Someone should write a blurb to jambands.com and also get in touch with someone at jambase. Maybe we can have jambase do a promotion and give away some tickets. Also someone should make an online add for this and possibly have Phantasy Tour post it. I don\'t the first thing about making online ad\'s so this is just a frugal suggestion.

treychica, jambase wants $$$ for ads on the site and even to give away tickets. its all $$$. while this is a special ocassion this is a decision to be made by management. great idea, I like it.
Picked up the Flyers/Handbills. They look good especially the color ones. They need to be in color to be alive. The black and white ones although nice just look like crap next to color.
I will get 10-15 posters printed up this weekend and have them ready for Wednesday.

Good News- I finally have the reduced admission passes, and will bring them to Richters on Wed., and hopefully CODA on Sat.
Bad News- Toad\'s told me the reduced price would be $10, instead it\'s $12.99 so there is no difference between the pass and the advanced sale price. I knew they\'d find a way to hose me on the deal somehow.
Good News- Especially for all the youngsters. There is no stipulation on the pass that you must be 21+ to take advantage. This is probably a printing error, but hold them to it, and it will be honored.

Oh, I got on the rotation on the radio down here on 92.9 DAVE FM with my song "She\'s My Tequila." Timmy and Animal are my backing band on the track. They played it on the "New Music Seminar" Wednesday morning @ 7:30, and I got rave reviews all across the board. 18 people I never met showed up @ my gig on Thursday after hearing it on the air. Its had so many requests they put it in rotation weekday mornings. How cool is that? Of of the DJ\'s, Barnes, kept saying how he loved the beat and the drumming. Thank you Adrian.
