If you\'ve ever been on the grounds of a music festival an hour or so after the last band has left the stage, you know it looks like a garbage tornado has just touched down. But after last weekend\'s Bonnaroo Festival wrapped up, the cleanup crew found something truly bizarre amidst the usual mountains of empty cups and crusty shoes: a dead body.

The Tennessean reports that on Tuesday, Bonnaroo workers found the body of an unidentified white man in his 20s in a tent. The man was apparently last seen alive around 3 p.m. on Monday, and police believe he may have been from Alabama. There were no signs of trauma on the body. Police are conducting an autopsy.Posted by Tom Breihan on June 18, 2009 at 11:45 a.m.

hope its not boomer...

Nah. Boomer\'s a survivor.  If we\'re back next year we\'ll see him again, you watch.

Even more surprising this slipped through the cracks.  Considering they were about to cart Peck off to the morgue until I chased them off.

Boomer was lucky you were there, or maybe I was, either way, Boomer definitely didn\'t die, although it would not surprise me if they found him Tuesday sleeping on the hood of his car.

First, thanks to the whole .info super Bonnaroo crew!  What a great time and an awesome group to hang out with!  We did it right!

When I saw today that it was a white male in his 20\'s from Alabama who was obviously there by himself since nobody reported him missing, I couldn\'t help but think it was quite possibly Boomer.  I called the Coffee Creek County Sheriff to offer some possible tips if they were still trying to identify the body, but the guy who answered said they had identified the body already.

This is the 7th casualty at Bonnaroo in the 8 years it has happened.  There have been 2 OD\'s, 2 health failures (possibly drug related), and one guy got run over by Ricky Skagg\'s tour bus.

I already posted these review links in the Phish thread, but since they\'ll be buried in there I just want to get them in this thread for archive purposes.

So after listening to the whole second night of phish at bonnaroo, my initial comments on the sit-in were utter sewer shit...  I don\'t know if it was Trey\'s introduction that got me to relax before the 2nd listen, but it was more enjoyable this time around...  I still say that Bruce\'s voice was harsh during the bridge of Bobby Jean, but all other complaints I take back...

Below is a link to Bruce\'s Bonnaroo show and the notes that came w/ it....

Also, below is the show that Trey references going to when he was 14

Audience tape - Premiere of The Ties That Bind. A reader present comments "I rank this as one of the all-time greatest Bruce concerts (of the 50+ I have attended and I know I’m just a piker on that standard). The audience jumping and dancing caused the gym floor to vibrate and move up and down. The “urban legend” is that this concert caused structural damage to the facility and that this was the last major rock concert to take place in Jadwin gym." Thanks to Michael.
