is the closest hotel over a mile away? stayed in one before but it was quite a far walk before/after the show, don\'t remember the name of it
cabs are your friend.
Just submitted a correction on Jambase so this shows up under Breakfast shows and not Kung Fu.
I\'ll be dressed as Lady GaGa.
I\'m always honored when I get quoted. Thanks Gfunk!

any word on if this is 18 +
Are any of the area hotels recomend? Hilton, hyatt, it looks like a "comfort suite"...and some seemy-sketchy motels?
Also, can one take Amtrak to new haven, then jump on the "local" (metro) south to milford?

I have stayed in both the Comfort Inn and Hampton Inn in Milford. Both I think are pretty similarly priced, but the Hampton Inn is definitely nicer.

was just thinking about this today... i\'ve rocked the super 8, i think it was, which was perfect for partying, not so much for sleeping.
all about the suhweeeets!
I\'m not gonna worry about a few bucks either way, if it\'s the last show in a while, let\'s do it up right. I\'m not worried about trying to catch any sleep for this one.
Bring a few grand worth of video equipment & you\'ll get your quality dvd!

If this is going to be the last show for a while and no theme has been decided upon yet I say get back to the roots of the Freak Out! and leave it all on the stage. There have been plenty of Zappa songs played over the years so why not showcase your talents and crank out a second set full of Zappa. The only one that hasn\'t been played before is Apostrophe. Haven\'t been to a CT show since Ron\'s farewell at Toad\'s. Hopefully I can work this one into the schedule.
I: The Chase, What The Funk > Rufus, Frankly Po Zest, Episode 3 (Awakening)
II: Willie The Pimp > Peaches En Regalia, King Kong, I\'m The Slime > Echidnas Arf (Of You), Apostrophe > Flower Punk > Inca Roads
III: jam > Sundance > Rush, Food For Thought, The Grand Scheme Of Things
E: Living Daylights > One Big Mob

It\'s Elvish for \'****.\' (As in Tolkien Lord of the Rings Elvish.) :D
also, if ron spears or matt oestricher were in attendance, i wouldn\'t mind a sit in or two, but please no Kung Fu sit ins, we have plenty of Kung Fu shows on the calendar and can see them play whenever we want now.
and please no macpods sit ins either. that should go without saying, but...
Hmm hoping I can find a dog-friendly hotel. Looking forward to seeing all yer mugs!

That\'s us.
woke up yesterday to find a leak in my window, rough estimates to replace the window means I need to bail on the show....bummed. have fun everyone
Are you taping? My wife is working and I have the two kids at home...
i dare YOU to wear a shirt, tie, and suspenders UNDER a three piece suit with suspenders, and then when it gets too hot, just take one layer off to reveal that you\'re actually wearing the same thing underneath. then put the jacket back on and act like nothing is out of the ordinary.
now i know why tuna thinks like he does! ;)
he was basically passed out on the floor of the raised area on the side of the entrance. i know bret was watching over him for a minute, i tried to entice him to get onto one of the couches, but he was so far gone. oh well, can\'t say i haven\'t been there.

I got wifi from the coffee shop next door. so happy they did not turn it off when they closed! you never know about these things until we get to the show. I was surrprised it all worked out. The show was great!
