After a few conversations last night, let me help out the gang with some knowledge as a former bus driver and current Boston resident.
When you rent a bus for a night, they pick you up and drop you off whenever and wherever you want. If you need to change venues 2, 3, or 10 times, you just give them the agenda and that\'s what they do. The driver either stays in the bus the whole time while you are at your event, or if he wants to get out it is up to him to know where he can park it.
To that end, have the bus driver drop you off at Fenway NOT AT HARPERS. There is a bus dropoff zone on Ipswich Street (at the end of Landsdowne Street) near Jillian\'s. If there is pregame bar action, I recommend going to Jillian\'s because it is enormous and can easily take on a group of 30 whereas a lot of other Fenway area bars will be too mobbed for a group this big to comfortably get in.
Tell the bus driver you need to be picked up, same spot, at 10:00. If Phish gets out later it doesn\'t matter, he\'ll be there. Then have him drive you to Harper\'s. It is a 30-40 minute walk between Harper\'s and Fenway if you\'re sober and moving well. If you\'re wasted it will be even longer. It\'s not an impossible walk but you need to really be up for it and I\'m not sure anyone wants to spend over an hour of precious partying time walking on this night. If you paid for a bus then I don\'t see the point, get what you paid for and use the bus.

the only hassle we would have is getting to the bus and getting back on it. driving to wallingford is nothing compared to dealing with boston bullshit and parking and then getting out of there when we can party there and back and maybe crash the night somewhere real quick and get home. ill take the train down if i have to.

I\'m guessing they drop everybody off somewhere close to the venue, then go park a few miles away, but I could be wrong, but their definetly is no parking lot scene in downtown boston, the surrounding streets should be pretty packed tho. If you want to park anywhere remotly close, you would have to show up in the morning.

Guys, there is one lot. See picture. There are buses in it all the time for Red Sox games. People from the buses do drink outside their bus sometimes in this lot. But hey, worst case, if you get any heat, just stay in the bus. I don\'t have info on this lot right now but I\'ll try to find it.
And remember, MASSACHUSETTS JUST DECRIMINALIZED POT! Less than an ounce, you\'re free to bounce. You can walk up to a cop and hand him a half ounce and the worst he can do is give you a $100 ticket, he can\'t possibly arrest you (and they\'re not bothering with the tickets either). Good times!

Depends on the cop and the situation. Handing the bag to the cop does allow him to search you for more cannabis.
If you happen to have a pipe, whoops paraphernalia laws still exist. Felony.

Peaches, how does the I-84 @ Route 74 AT Exit 69 Park and Ride sound?
That parking lot costs $100 to reserve a spot. Think I might be reserving a spot so we have our own lot and such.
Ideas?
Also, We will be making a second pick up in Tolland at the I-84 @ Route 74 Exit 69 Park and Ride. Hopefully that will help others with a closer pick up location.

I hate everyone that is setting foot on that bus and i hope it runs out of gas on I-90 somewhere.

I wanted to thank all of you for participating in this event. Everyone of you made this a special night for everyone else. Believe it or not, but most people filled into their roles without even being asked.
We made that night for the driver one of the best he has had. I have no reason to believe that it can\'t be done again and can\'t be a lot more fun.
Hope everyone enjoyed their tour opener. I will definitely be seeing some of you on the road this summer.
I believe that we definitely created the best Phish experience that any of us had.
Also, I have a couple more "Phenway Phaithful" shirts that I will have with me this week and weekend.
I am sure most people have seen them.

best party experience of my life no doubt. i\'m so happy the driver was happy with us. i think we all did a good job of being respectful. spaceman, you\'re the man. i so hope we can do this again soon.

No problem. It was all my pleasure.
SPAC is looking like a serious possibility. The time frame is about the same and we can probably do another pickup over the Connecticut/Massachusetts border.
It is just over two months now. Put $10 away a week and you will have enough saved for the trip.
