you can talk the talk but will you actually walk the walk. don\'t vote, just :hair:

tribal=gone!
-
i went with tribal, theres so much more musically interesting stuff happening in that song. i know puppetry\'s had some crazy energy, but for me, tribal\'s structure and thought provoking progressions top puppetry\'s recent crazy performances.

you also were fortunate to get a TFA>Sir Psycho>TFA your first show.. nuts to the izzo.. I like your reasoning Cobberator

If anything boosted my vote, it was the general jamminess of Puppetry at Toad\'s! Much love to the energy on that tune.
-
ok time for me to start voting in this round...

Went with TFA for a tie vote ;)

yeah I know I\'m a dumbass, but I fixed it, I knew what I meant my brain just farted.
I think you can tell who the musicans are on here by the voting, more notes= musicians vote Scheme Tribal ect... Not a bad thing just interesting
-
it\'s not quantity of notes for me, it\'s more interesting, off the beaten path chord progressions. things that would make me think hard about improvising over them. lotta notes can be practiced to the point where you can do it in your sleep. chord changes that really keep you on your toes is where it\'s at.
-
^^none the less, something musicans notice more than you average joe/jill
-
its true. sometimes it kinds ruins things for me when i listen to music. especially being in the production end of things. i\'ll listen to a track and instead of thinking "thats a good song", i\'ll think, "gee, i would have compressed the snare a little more and rolled off the bottom end around 150Hz, and the reverb bus on that background vocal should come down 3 or 4 dB."
-
hey, i voted intension over tribal first round, now i\'m just supporting a sick tune
-
everyone go listen to 12-9-05 utica tribal. do it. now.
i dom\'t have to... i was there. in fact, i think a few of us are STILL there!
-
i love tribal and all, and its a great tune, but i feel puppetry has more a chance to go in different places and travel in unchartered territory. and i like that about it.
-
Another one for the tribal funk. I agree with Cobb, he summed it up.
