Really, what\'s the deal? I see the post on the .org page that they will be losing Matt due to creative differences (whatever that means), and he\'s supposedly going to finish out October. Obviously not eh?

Slash, Duff and Matt Sorum all left Guns N Roses due to creative differences. Really it was because Axl Rose is a bit of a tool, so I don\'t blame them. That just became obvious to the general public as time went on.

creative differences - as in, one guy plays jazz and classical, while the others play rock and funk. see how their creative outlets are differing there?

or, you know, you can just continue to make wild speculation based on guns n roses... because there\'s an excellent analogy to this band...

The music was not Matt\'s style.

He felt the bands music should be going in one direction completely the opposite of what the other 3 felt was the correct direction.

Dude, you have the largest G-N-R collection of music and memorabilia that I have ever seen.

Don\'t you have like a mega list on iTunes?

Yeah I guess I could\'ve expected to get flamed on that one. Sweet. My 2nd post under my new alias and already losing cred. I must be in the negatives at this point.

Now, my reference to GNR was purely satire, and (seemingly) a none-too-witty way to present my question as to why a fairly new member of an established band would all of a sudden decide he no longer wanted to be in said band. Thanks jking for answering my questions before starting the flame war.

For those who don\'t get the irony of my reference, it\'s more than a given to say that there is a major difference in the musical and lifestylings of the two groups in discussion. Satire = poking fun at.

Maybe because I am not of your "locals only" mindfuct ownership of the band my knowledge of the most recent happenings and news is somewhat behind the time, I understand that. But be assured that I have done my part remotely to run with the band when they come to my corner of the nation, have promoted the shit out their shows, and have downloaded, passed around, and commented on many shows that have been given review by some of you who were actually at the show. For this I appreciate your contribution.

Just smile and quit being so willing to flame... now flame on you flamers!

don\'t take any offense to what any of have to say. We all start out in the negative numbers. I\'ve know Spacey for 10-15 years so thats just us being ourselves. we really aren\'t assholes outside the intraweb..... well i\'m not.....

and all your help is greatly appreciated.

thank you for helping the band.

you probably want to work on your satire, as i fail to see any irony, derision nor wit. just saying something silly isn\'t satire.

also, y\'all isn\'t spelled ya\'ll.

i mean, you come in and start casting aspersions about, then get all uptight when someone calls you on it. sorry dude, but that\'s not flaming, that\'s life.

should we meet at a show sometime, though, i\'ll gladly buy you a beer.

Good lord. In some attempt to acknowledge that I have read what you have wrote I am posting again. To continue this on and on is what I am NOT going to do as it\'s pointless.

I once posted a review of a show on LMA about how nice it must be to have a group of friends who all enjoy the same musical tastes and can join together to see such a great local band. Now I\'m starting to think otherwise as, to me it sounded so funny to see how quickly someone actually became overly offended by the mention that they may like GNR. Hatred in general (and outright distaste) highlights your ignorance. Say you "hate" something, then stand back and look at yourself.

And BTW, I was not offended in the very least. I understand the "rules" of message boards. I find it funny and a waste of ones time to pick apart someones post for grammatical errors, etc. I guess I just expected more from Breakfast fans.

See ya at the show.

I love this venue.  It is small and very intimate and the vibe is always good.  And a great beer selection. Strong opening jam>MFD, Rufus to kick it off.  Begonias lowered the intensity, but got everybody\'s feet moving.  WIUAC and Escher\'s 4 were good played for the first time on the tour and it was very refreshing.  Metropolis is just so fucking tight right now, then it was onto the Pimp themed medley (Gladys was also played for the first time on the tour) and Question rocked hard.  Taboo just sealed the deal.  This was the first show without sit ins.  I had a great time, seeing four shows in five nights.  The trio lives and has been kicking ass and taking names in the Midwest.  A hell of a good start to the tour.
