Post by: bdfreetuna on November 30, 2010, 12:10:46 pm: this one did come out especially well. I put the Zoom in the thing hanging from the ceiling about 6\' back from the stage, angled down at about 15-20 degrees. Set the levels @ "9" for this one.

Imported it into Audacity and saw just about a perfect wave form, with the peaks going to about 85-90%.

I was pleased :) .. glad you enjoy!

Thanks, every time I record Sully\'s the soundboard mix has Tim low in the mix (or muted) because his amp is already loud in the room, so I recorded a separate guitar track in the zoom so I can mix it in the post. still a tough room because the band is so close together and the audience is so close to the stage.
Great show, these guys always find new a way to take the same old songs and bring it to a new level and or add something new and exciting. Great show!
