Holy kamole what a great show!! I needed that. I first tried to watch on my tv, but it kept freezing up. Once I switched to my phone all was good. The sound was great if not a little vocal heavy, but I'll take it any day.
The boys sounded like they have always played those Beastie Boys tunes. I was expecting just a straight play through of the album, and then a set of originals, but I like how they weaved everything together. I hope they keep some of those jams around.
-
You're not wrong frolf, I think most were expecting (and then suprised by the weaving) the album to be played straight through. These guys always know how to keep you on your toes! I think if they continue with this theme, next album:
John Scofield's Agogo (w/ Medeski, Martin & Wood)
... they've already got the sound for it. Tim's been playing Jeep on 35 off the album in his acoustic streams from time to time. I would love it. It's another staple/go to in my rotation. But, hey... I'm only a fan with an opinion ;D
-
I was thinking A Go Go (Scofield), Spectrum (Billy Cobham), or Blow by Blow (Jeff Beck)
-
"A go go" would be insane! This looks like a solid set of tunes I need to check out
.. thank you to all involved
-
Yes Buqu3bus, you must check it out. So good. Did you watch Episode 1? That is excellent also. I hope we don't have to wait too long for Eppy 3!
-
For those of us that missed this, any chance an audio copy is available???
-
No straight audio that I know of for either stream. I think episode 1 is on YouTube and ep 2 should follow suit?
-
I just popped over to the tube and both episodes are archived. Thanks mkdevo!!!
We should post the links here but maybe a new, deadicated thread?
-
Thanks for the info frolf! And thank you davepec for all your ccx efforts : )

I haven’t started a YouTube link thread yet... that’s a whole other rabbit hole. Feel free to post them in the Setlist page for now. Maybe at some point I can start attaching YouTube links to the TDIBH days. I’d rather not have stuff getting spread out in a bunch of different Threads that all relate to the same show. Bit of my OCD tendencies as the curator of the page.

I am ripping the audio as we speak and at some point I'll upload it to the Community Audio section of the LMA. I've already ripped Episode 1 so eventually they will all be archived.
