Hey, my assignment was to create a 2.5x3.5" trading card on anything we wanted, we had the option to just plaster our face on another card, create a card from scracth, etc. . . This is what I came up with. Breakfast Fans trading card, layout idea from the 1984-1985 Topps Hockey card series, not that anyone knows what those are anyways. Let me know any comments, suggestions, ideas, color schemes, etc. . . the project isnt due for another week and a half and Im pretty much done cos Im lazy and pick easy stuff to do. The image isnt the exact print out, there will be an approx 1/8" white border around all edges as the hockey cards had.

That is great.....
Its all about the stats on the back.....and the stick of gum of course....
and the photo should be of you getting down at a show...

No stats, just the front, although dates of attended shows on the back would sweet, but we\'re just making fronts for class. The large photo is going to be a action shot of sorts, either getting down at a show, drinking a beer, etc. . . The hockey card I based it on just had a head shot in the bottom right corner and an action shot up top.

I\'ll trade you a Tansley, an Evelyn, and a Gray, for a Wah and a Walsh....
then my set will be complete!
-
I\'ve got the limited edition Todd Anderson hologram card.

we could make the "scott the lurker card" real hard to get
-
Hey Gencs you\'re going to have to give up more than a Tansley, Evelyn, and a Gray if you\'d want a WAH and a Walsh( I love talking about myself in the 3rd person)
-
I love the idea, the "ser" at the bottom is funny shit...you might have to cut the Wah man in on any profit...
-
i\'ve got a signed second pressing teddy the webmaster (out of print for 5 years now) going to anyone who can get me the card with pitch and kote together on it..
(its the one where kote is flipping off the camera)
-
heres another

This is great. Number of shows seen is a must on the back. Also number of drinks consumed at shows and bowls smoked at shows. In addition, I will count the number of steps everyone takes while dancing at the next show. First show and favorite show should also be on the back.
Looking at Becket\'s Breakfast Card Monthly, it looks like the DeBloc card is rapidly losing value, while the Josh Dobson rookie card is a fast gainer. There\'s a complete set of MokiJam fan cards up on Ebay for $420.
-
somebody please put my face and name on a card...i\'m not at all sure how to do it.. here\'s my face:

LMAO!!! I have the nasty dollarz card and it\'s not for trade. ;)
-
I see Grayson as being a Pokemon card. We can list his super powers on the back.
-
LMAO!!!!
-
ahhhhahahahaha this is the best thing I\'ve heard all day. no, all week.
If we have to put # of shows on the back I will never have a card. I refuse to sit around and count shows attended. Never going to happen.
-
one of the neat things on phantasy tour is that anytime anyone refers to a show,it automatically puts a link to that show and if you look at the show and realize you went, you can just add it to your list. you can click on any members name and if that person keeps up to date you can see their history also. it\'s a pretty neat system i think
-
if it was that wasy, we\'d all have cards. thats a hell of a head shot
-
looks a lot like beauregard

YAY! my 100th post! i\'m gonna celebrate...:disco::stoned: rock out with your cock out!
-
congrats Gfunk, no turning back now...
-
Oh, and, speaking of no turning back, I started combing my hair out today! yahoo! One down, a whole fucking lot more to go. Talk about tedious work too, took me an hour and a half to comb one dread out. ugh
-
just cut it off ;)
-
considered it, but, well... I\'ve always long hair, and I can\'t bring myself to just chop it all off....
-
i feel your pain, took me long enough to get my hair at a decent length I liked and then I chopped it all off, for a girl! :( Blah, oh well, it happens, now it\'s back and long(er) and Im contimplating cutting some, if not most of it, off again because it\'s becoming a hassle and Im getting a wicked bad receding hairline from wearing a hat every hour of the day.
-
joc, i honestly can\'t picture you with short hair let alone no dreds...
-
Why not? It\'s just hair; I\'ll look the same. You comin\' out to Cafe 9 Paul? You can see my rockin new \'do then, if I find the time to pull em all out.
Before combing the dreads out, I shoul dhave cut them into a dread mullet and left it like that for a while. That would have been AWESOME.

Well, that was your first mistake. I think any relationship that begins with compromising oneself is doomed.
Someone told me recently that I would get a receding hairline from always wearing my dreads pulled back, because they\'re so heavy. That was worrisome. Won\'t have to think about that soon though! yay!
-
can you comb out dreads? I thought they had to be chopped??
-
With a whole lot of detangler, a fine toothed comb, a lot of time and patience, and some good painkillers, yes, you can.

You\'ll all see! You\'ll be calling me Rapunzel soon enough! ok, maybe not.
Those were some nice lookin dreads by the way, but you look much better with a shaved head than I would I think! Unless I got a cool tattoo on my scalp....

well good luck! i didn\'t have the patience or tollerance for pain. i had the dreads from \'94-\'99. i wish i never cut them...i always say someday i\'ll get em back, but i\'m too lazy.
-
how bout a tattoo of a mullett on your scalp?
-
Pure Genius!
