The Dude of Life will perform this Friday at New York’s Lion’s Den. Once a mainstay on the jamband circuit, the Phish lyricist has kept a relatively low-profile as of late. At this show, the Dude will perform the Phish songs he co-penned and originals from his two albums: Crimes of the Mind and Under the Sound Umbrella. Oddly enough, The Dude of Life’s last performance with Phish also took place the day after Thanksgiving, at the nearby Nassau Memorial Coliseum last November.

Agreed. He went on before PB at some show, it was either Wormtown Fest 9/8/1 or a Guilford Green show. It was the single worst performance I have ever seen by a paid musician. If it weren\'t for Phish this guy wouldn\'t exist. If he actually played music professionally he would probably have a band with Jeff Holdsworth and Brad Sands called Jennifer Dances, or maybe The Other Other Ones. He is the equivalent of PB making it and Maturo calling himself "The Guy" and getting paid to sing Breakfast songs really badly just because he knows the band.
