@ ESCHER\'S ETCHINGS (PART 3)
instrumental
@ ESCHER\'S ETCHINGS (PART 4)
The Visions of Escher’s Life Come Thru
Expressing a notion amazing and true
His brain sees an etching his hands pursue
Master of his craft he gives to you
Ideas bear witness to the wonder
Of natures laws that woke up his thunder
Dividing the plane under his control
He alters perception to examine the soul
M.C. Escher sketch us a picture
Engrave us reflexion, new views of the world
No human can measure all your endeavors
We let our eyes treasure your questions and works
The mixture of black and white
Harmony in complexity
Infinity his connection x 3
Escher is etching his soul x 3
M.C. Escher is etching his soul

Where are you?
After a monster debut on February 16, 2007, Part 3 was played five times and Part Four was played four times. They were last played on April 20, 2007 (4/20... rebel, rebel). I suppose it\'s possible that Matt hasn\'t learned them yet, but they were on the shelf for almost four months before he joined the band. Is there any official news and/or unofficial hearsay pertaining to the status of these songs?
-
the longer they wait, the better itll be when they bust it out
-
I have no idea about where they are. I just wanted to comment on your post Drew. Nice research ya did there.
-
I am not crazy about EE 3 & 4, but maybe if I actually heard them once and awhile I would change my mind.
-
the end of 3>4=da phunk.
-
I like 3 & 4 I just thought that they didn\'t work well with parts 1 & 2. But I have seen them like a grand total of one time, which was the first time I heard them, so...

-
sleeping giants.
-
in time, this song(s) will be a monster.............
-
i am going to make a huge statement here...
Escher\'s Etching\'s, when played parts 1thru 4 as one song, is IMO the best song the breakfast has ever written. it is multi-part (obviously), has several sections for type 2 jamming, is VERY complex, and has that section towards the end of part 4 that can easily (and will eventually) turn into the best untz jam TB has to offer. Im talking about the "escher is etching his soul" part where eventually they will play it where chris drops a sick trance bass line and adrian locks in the untz. all hell will break loose.

-
dude i am seriously jonesin for a escher 3. BOUT TIME YO !
-
throw me on the list kid
-
It\'s sad to see setlists only filled with Escher\'s 1, 2...4. Please teach Jordan Escher\'s 3! This way you can play Escher\'s 1-4 at the Electric Company, where they were debuted as a group last time they played there.
-
And definitely don\'t forget about part 5!
Electric Co: first set complete Escher\'s
second set: rager > funk-A > jam > tunage > jam > more raging, etc.
encore: follow set 2 formula, turns into set 3.
EC ends up staying open until dawn, peeps run out and lots of brew for after last call, and we get down proper.
-
3 is the shit. cutting it out sucks!
-
settle down kids settle down,
i know 3 & 5. its coming. we just have to work around everyone in the bands busy schedule.
thanks for your patience.
