Either the setlist is incomplete, the \'Queeb was 45 minutes long or they ran out of time. I really like the looks of the 2nd set.
-
please say the Queeb was 45 minutes...
-
The Queeb was fucking insane...and was nothing short of 45 minutes. I told them at setbreak that I wanted to hear it, but that they might save it for the HOB...they said they\'d just play it again and to consider tonight a warm-up for Chicago. If that\'s what they call a warm-up, I may be in need of medical assistance.
What a freakin throwdown - there were only 20 people there, but they gave it their all. My body hates me this morning, but it was totally worth it. Everyone was in a great mood despite the crowd conditions.
Gravity was dedicated to Gavin because last night was his 100th Bfast show.
Escher\'s, Gravity, and Buquebus were HUGE. All the friends I brought were in awe and kept shaking their heads because it was so unreal.
I got home at 5 and got up at 9 to finish a term paper...you\'d better believe I\'m going to crash later this afternoon! East Coasters, Gencs is having a great time and behaving himself (for the most part). ;)
-
Gencs behave himself...... is he feeling all right, is he sick or something
-
wait gencs is in the van?
-
wait gencs is in the van?
Gencs = New TPalms Guitar Tech
and all around grip!

:that:

I\'m sure we\'ll get rowdy in Chicago. Gencs asked me what time I\'m rolling in on Friday, I said about 2 or 3 pm, his response was "Good, you\'ll be here in time to pregame"

From DAS BORT.
"no more than 20 people. probably 4 were crew. i dug it from the beginning, but the second set made me want to see them again immediately. highlights: gravity, i am the slime
SONGWRITING PEOPLE...SONGWRITING...this is the key to good rock and roll...you might be able to jam with the best of them, but if you dont have interesting songs who gives a fuck?"
Slowly invading the UM fanbase...... :)

Fixed!!
fixed yet again
-
Shit, I\'d be a gopher to if it meant travelling the country and seeing the boys everynight. Lucky Bastard. If any of you MW folks talk to Gencs tell him to give me a call on my cell when he gets a chance.
-
I\'d give anything to be able to work a full Breakfast tour.....
-
So when did Gencs acquire Guitar tech skills?
Not bashing just wondering. For anyone that thinks it\'s an ez job, a real guitar tech has to have usable knowledge of how the instruments(amps included) work and how to troubleshoot them. It\'s not just tuning and restringing.
And why does Tim need a tech @ this stage anyway? Gencs did some fast talkin to get that gig.
-
His actual position is roadie. But he also knows quite a bit about guitars also.
-
damn...gencs is gonna be out here? uh oh!
I\'m skipping UM to see the boys tonight, and considering the trek to Chicago tomorrow... :)
-
Leith Gencs has alot of electronics skills and has a good understanding of guitars and the such. Plus last time we were at Tim\'s he was talking about how he was very close to grabbing someone else to help lugging shit around.
-
Walsh, I\'ll have Gencs get hold of you tomorrow

Well good for him, but oh poor Tim.
Glad to see the guys building a crew bit by bit.
They can\'t depend on the kindness of tour rats to help load out EVERY night.
-
:yay:I\'m so glad for Gencs! He deserves the title more than anyone, and I\'m sure tB wants to have a roadie who appreciates the music instead of some new kid.
As for qualifications, leith?! He\'s been playing/practicing/jamming on guitars as long as I\'ve known him, and he\'s always first to help TPalms (@ Richters & other TT shows) lug in his equip. & help set it up.
:lol:Besides, being called Timmy\'s "grip" is yet another dream come true for him...
***************Oops... BTW, this is Freespirit, NOT Todd*********************

<<<< completely honored to help load out whilst in Cali. this shit\'s what dreams are made of, folks..
cant\' go wrong w/ shit like this: Escher\'s Etchings > Vera Street > Great Big Fiery Ball In The Sky > Tom Sawyer (esp. these days) the segues have been fucking water! That second set looks nutso!! Reminds me a lot of second set SPAC 6/20/04 Set II: Seven Below> Ghost> Twist, You Enjoy Myself
Encore: Good Times Bad Times
glad to hear kyndkate and her friends got owned.. have fun in chitown...and yah, Gencs is dunzo :)
-
a damn shame to see escher\'s on this setlist, thee one song i was really hoping to hear tonight or tomorrow.. pretty sure they wont be playing it tomorrow. not a big deal though, they still have a couple of good tunes. ;) ;) ;)
-
Pics are up in the gallery...I didn\'t take a whole lot because I was too busy dancing my ass off all night.
-
Pics are up in the gallery
We want late night pics!!!!
-
There was no late night, they finished playing at 2:30 am (didn\'t even start until a little after 11). I had a 2-hour drive back to school that night and had to finish a term paper by 10 am.
Late night pics from tonight are confirmed, though :D
-
The Primus tease was a good idea. How did the Eminem tease sound?
