Can someone explain to me what this whole myspace thing is? I click on The Breakfast myspace link over there on the side panel and it seems that it spreads like wild fire to anyone and everyone on the face of the earth. . .thanks, ant

Myspace is basically where everyone in the universe keeps a little homepage so people can find them and connect amongst others. Every band, celebrity, and group both real and imaginary also have a space. The concept is cool although I find it to be very high-schooly and obnoxious. Everyone just posts inside jokes on each other\'s pages, trying to prove to everyone else that they are the person\'s best friend. I don\'t even have a page, I don\'t like it.

I started using MySpace during a boring stretch of four consecutive days off during finals last semester. It\'s kind of fun if you care about finding people you went to high school (or middle school) with. Overall, it is a load of schlock, but it definitely helped me keep in touch with some high school friends that I would not have had a way to contact otherwise. If you can deal with the fact that about 90% of it is exactly what Wolf described, it\'s worth a shot. Oh, and there are also an endless number of Internet whores posting delicious pictures of themselves (allegedly) wearing next to nothing. Whether that is good or bad is up to you.
