WOW!

what a great show! and for me to say that about a living room show, it had to be good!

1st set was one of the best pb sets i\'ve seen in a while! unreal energy - opening with 2 monsters, and the middle of STL played in the middle of buquebus! unreal!

HUSH!!!! :holyshit: first time played in 3+ years!! SO glad this one is back! what a great song...

gravity is definitely growing on me..... very catchy guitar work.. cool tune.

DMB is also worth noting... it went places most DMB\'s have never gone before, and for that, i salute the band on a job well done. :D

a great night, even though the casino kicked my ass afterwards... but it was GREAT to see my favorite RI resident Kristiner!! so nice to finally see you again, kp... same goes to teddy...

surprised more people didn\'t make the trip, but i\'m sure everyone will be representin\' on sunday. happy birthday aruny!

peck,i have to agree with you on this one.you already know, ser show right?definately.outta the gates with eschers was a treat.and then the buquebus(which has fallen from my personal favorites)see the light sangvich was unrealshit.after not hearing stl in awhile it was lovin it.and then the sleeper of the night, hush.are you kiddin me??i used to love when they played it back in the day.i remember requesting it at planet mars way back when.i love that tune!hopefully itll be in the rotation from here on in..score>gravity>score was perfect.seemed like it just fit right in there perfectly,or maybe i was just hammered..i dont think so though.setbreak smokie smokie yea whatever...um,actually heres where my memory is a bit slacking...ldz was cool but i can not remember phaddy fo some reason..maybe i was pissin or something..but that wouldnt make sense because its a pretty long tune..so maybe i had to go out to the car or something..but i know i didnt do that either..well either way, holy shit.same goes for dig..where was i?did anybody see me there?perhaps, i was abducted by aliens or something..dont think so..maybe it was the trees i guess.that makes sense..yo,whoever smoked me out at setbreak thanks..now i remember.adam!!calimist.whew...ok.peace frog is a blur kinda.but i can remember it at least.im not even gonna tell i didnt remember rufus.but..forget it.drunkmonkbar i do remember quite clearly.it was a killer rendetion of it,and also my request for the boy who was about to get "acted like it was a birthday beatdown".we went sorta easy on him though..and the fire was kinda strange too.it was ser dot get me wrong.seems like fire would be in the same category as hush because is rarely played.not as rare but you know.overall,a really good show.wouldve liked to see some more ct peeps but teddy t was there and nuff said!!hope to see you everybody at the party.if i were a bettin man,id go with the odds of me being there.

Hi Fred

You only break out with the () once in your review/recollection. And when you do so, you do it to claim that Buquebus has fallen from your personal favorites. Please explain. Perhaps a separate forum category is needed.

Pitch

That said, the show looks great on paper and evidently was from yous guys words. I hope Hush stays off the shelf.

pitchy, the reason buquebus has fallen in the personal standings is just because ive seen it soo many times now.i know its a big song and all but it just dosent do it for me anymore.however, with the see the light in the middle made it more special.i think instead of playing buquebus they should do ep2 every time!

Living Room was cool,  It was great to meet Tim and talk to him about guitar, since I am a guitar student at Berklee, it was very informative. I even got the setlist.  What a killer show.  Drunk monk bar was excellent.

But what about that particular Buquebus? Was a regular, great Buquebus (that you\'ve heard a ton of times) or was it unique, way-out-there Buquebus (that you\'ve heard a ton of times)? Oh wait...I see your point. You\'ve actually seen them more times than they\'ve played, haven\'t you?

This was the show that catapulted me from being just another pb fan to a ser pb fan, sorry for the unnecessary bumpage, but figured I\'d give credit where credit is due....

think if the boys ripped that same exact first set today?!?!  that shit would be out of control, especially with the insane improvements of Gravity and Score as of late. wow, before i look, is this on archive?

ya know, looking at my comment, everything would be ridiculous because of the insane improvements of The Breakfast as of late. fuck, they should really bust a set like that out soon.

I remember meeting up w/ RustyD and bossman like I had at many other Breakfast shows at the Living Room, and it just so happened all 3 of us were tripped out on shrooms.  I think I recall seeing Satan in the crowd that night, he was a lot shorter than I assumed him to be.  The crowd, like most Living Room crowds, was out of control.  As much as a shithole as that place was/is, people actually showed up for the Breakfast shows there, which is more than I can say for most places.  That was also the first time I got to see \'the room\' which in itself is a whole \'nother story, there\'s some great banter from Timmy on the Phatty Boom Batty intro about said room.  The Fire encore was great too, I\'ve seen plenty of bands cover Fire, but Tim\'s guitar and Ron\'s singing remains the best version I\'ve seen to date(better than Phish and moe. IMO).

Hey, I\'m HERE!!

I haven\'t been on the internet much lately is all.
For some reason I got a message to my email that someone responded to this topic.  So I\'m stopping in to check it out.

But seriously, I\'m still around and just busy with working full time and grad school.  I missed the last PB show in Providence but I was at the one before last and the band ROCKED!   I had a great time, dinner with Daver and Lisa, catching up with friends, meeting new people.  It was awesome and should happen more often :)

It was good to see you (and meet your boyfriend) at The Call last December after not seeing you for a couple of years.

Alex it was good to see you too.  Justin loved the band, which made me happy.  You never know if people will like the Breakfast (ok, I just wrote PB and then realized the huge error I was making and did make in that last response!  I must still be in new-name denial!).   I think everyone should be into their music, but some just don\'t get it.  Their loss!

And thanks to Igziabeher for bumping this!

Kristina

that reminds me of Al\'s friend from Umass when we went to the Northhampton show.  Al brought up PB(it will always be PB) and the kid just seemed flat out offended by it, like we were a bunch of Satan-worshippers or something(not that we\'re not, but you get the idea)...

I will always refer to them as PB. I don\'t think I will ever write T*. I am finally saying just "Breakfast", though.
