Now that they are no longer PB, does anyone think it would be interesting or appropriate if The Breakfast played Pink Floyd\'s song, "Alan\'s Psychedelic Breakfast." As I\'m sure you all know, the original name derives from that. And if they did play it, would be a good one-time deal to officially signal the end of Psychedelic Breakfast or better as a regular member of the rotation? Of course, this is completely hypothetical, but we\'ve been givin this second lease on life with the forum, so I figured what the fuck? Plus, it would be nice if I actually made a post that wasn\'t in Spunk every two or three millenium.

Obviously, I have little knowledge of how to properly start a thread. The real thread is the one with the title actually written out in full. This is strictly an exhbition thread with absolutely no literal merit. Either Dave can delete it or we can use this as a medium to talk about something entirely different, such as the blatant lack of Another Bad Creation songs from The Breakfast\'s catalogue (although I thought I detected an IESHA tease in the Auld Lang Syne from 12-31-03).

i think tb should definately cover alan\'s pb. it\'s a cool and wierd song. if it went well, i dont see why they couldn\'t keep it in rotation, but they should debut it whenever it is they plan to make the official name change. i\'ve only heard pb cover one pink floyd song (comfortably numb) and i\'ve thought for a while they should play some floyd covers. they just need to make sure to get the vocals down first, which wouldn\'t be a problemb for alans pb since they just mutter "marmalade, bacon, eggs". ok this post is def. long enough.

Yeah but they\'d need a stove and a frying pan on stage. And some food and things.
-
i think they should play some Ozric Tentacles tunes. the ozric\'s name came from an idea for a made up psychedelic breakfast cereal.
-
Yeah, it would be great but what about all the other sounds, that\'s half the song, is just Alan cooking Breakfast
-
Or we can discuss politics... that always goes over well.

^Always ;)

this song could never happen unless they pre-recorded sound fx in a kitchen and then played them back later. As far as pink floyd covers,
Comfortably Numb
Another brick in the wall
Fearless
and randomly there has also been
Eclipse (jam) 3-9-02
Run Like Hell (tease) 5-17-02
Shine on your crazy diamond (tease) 11-29-03
If they were going to do some Anderson Councel, I would prefer
*Atom Heart Mother Suite (complete)
*Shine on your crazy diamond (complete)
*Anything off of Saucerfull of Secrets
*Anything off of Animals
*Anything off of Ummagumma disc one (Astronomie Domine - careful with that axe eugene - set the controls for the heart of the sun - saucerful of secrets), or
Several small species of animals gathered together in a cave and groving with a pict (vocal Jam) from disc two
