best band in the country. good night.
-
has anyone else notices how many segways take place in rhode island as opposed to other areas? they sure like to jam on the island!
-
SER throwdown in \'gansett......
I love the GBFBITS jam.....
and the food for thought>doughboy>food for thought was amazing.....
The actual FFT was in reference to the Keno game in the RI bar.....
It felt like this show was in New Haven with all the ser-heads there....
yet again I am completely blown away by what i saw and felt last night.....ONWARD AND UPWARDS!!!!
-
Looks good, too bad I couldn\'t make it. Glad all the ser-heads made it out, were there any nonser-heads there? Hard Luck Harry > What The Funk > Drum Solo seems to be the best part on paper. Drum solo isn\'t the staple it once was, so you gotta eat \'em up!

Post #1000. Wow. I\'m gonna measure my life in posts. Where will I be at post 2,500? 10,000? 500,000?

best hardluck harry ever!!
-
like previously stated, the FFT> Doughboy> FFT> Dig and the Hardluck Harry were pretty badass. I was also psyched to hear my 1st Puppetry in about 2 years. screw these opening bands though, i need a well balanced breakfast of 2 sets and an encore.
-
hard luck was insane... played keno for about an hour or so and dont really like it. i lost, tim lost, yet sakoya tree and nikki win just like that. suckers game for sure.

Awesome time last night!!! Walk On The Wild Side deserves a big  as well. Great to see so many Breakfast newbies (and HOT ones as well)
That place has way too many Route 1\'s surrounding it!!! Lost once again, although we did not end up way out of our way (read: Gencs)
-
Gencs got lost? No way!
(I will never, ever follow Steve anywhere ever again)
-
you gotta follow gencs in a conga line :)
-
we did get lost....but thanks to The Ocean State\'s self-correcting wrong turns, we were back on track in no time.....
now driving Fitzy\'s car with him passed out in it while sean followed us to wallingford, was a horse of a different color.......
we got on 91 and then hit stop traffic in north haven. we didnt move for almost 45 minutes and didnt get back to milford till 5 am....
thanks again seanie for the ride.....
and regarding last night....."best everything ever IMHO"...it always is for me...hands down best band in the country....

Post of the month.

It has been a while since I had seen a show and this was only the 2nd show since NYE, but I am happy to say that I was blown away by the show on Sat. The way I used to get. Awesome time with alot of veterans.
My highlight of the night was by far: FFT->Doughboy->FFT->Dig.
Great to see so many unfamiliar faces RAGIN\' it up front after Animal\'s solo thru the end of the show...Who\'s got my ride to Wilkes-Barre?
-
leith, you edited your post.i know you did!!it didnt read like that just yesterday.

My freshest memory of the show was an absolutely ripping Puppetry.
I got distracted when I ran into a friend at the show that I hadn\'t seen in 4 years. Consequently, my conversation distracted me from the second half of the set.
-
al,great haircut slick!
-
It looked crappy on Sat. but looks good now. It needed a few days to fall into all the right places Dawg.
-
added some notes to the setlist after giving it a couple listens...

walsh\'s review. (http://www.thebreakfast.info/modules.php?s=&name=Reviews&rop=showcontent&id=162)

Listened to this show via stream w/ a friend a few days ago. Walk on... is the most upbeat version either of us had ever heard. It evoked this response from Ed" Dude it\'s like the rest of the band is playin\' full on Velvet Underground and the guitar player is playin\' Marley riffs freakin\' reggae shit. That\'s fuckin\' cool!"
After the rest of the show he summed it up as such" Those poor people stuck on the east coast, at least they got a band like The Breakfast to listen to. Damn."

There isn\'t much else to do when the temperatures drop in new England.
