I just heard of The Breakfast for the first time today, via a thread on the Live Music Archive. Started streaming a show, and am downloading a show now. You guys are hot! As a long-time Zappa fan (his San Diego shows were always a real trip!) and a former touring deadhead, this stuff is right up my alley.
Does The Breakfast ever make it out here to the left coast? I look forward to seeing a show live.

I think the best jam band on the archive is the heavily Zappa influenced The Breakfast, also listed under Psychedelic Breakfast. I have downloaded around 150 shows so far and have listened to little else in the last year almost. For consistent sound quality (85% or more of their shows are great sound), pick up the Matrix recordings from 2001-2004. They do a few covers in most shows of the Dead, Doors, Zappa, Funkadelic, Hendrix, etc. but their own songs stand out even more than the covers. I can\'t say enough about this band. They are the band I have been looking for all my life (40+ years) that I never thought I would find. They encapsulate the best of my favorite groups and players with THE MOST WICKED GUITAR and ORGAN/SYNTH with balls-to-the-wall energy from note one.
