This is all I can remember and it may not be 100% correct.
Set 1
Jam > Inner Glimpse, Tribal Funk Affliction > Superfly Phaddy Fat > Tribal Funk Affliction > Superfly Phaddy Fat, Jam > Hard Luck Harry (partial)
Set 2
Jam > The Chase > Gladys Pimp and Kangaroos With Me > Hard Luck Harry, (Ron-nie Spears chant leads to Save thanking the crowd) Intension, Jam > LDZ
Encore
The Late and The Great
Fn dogs next door. There is no reason I should be up right now. What a blast though! I think Ron really liked the Boys II Men sing along at the end of the night.
-
OMG 9 hours since the show ended and no setlist! .info has officially shit the bed! rotfl Seriously, how good do we have it when it\'s shocking that there\'s no setlist by the time you wake up after a show? .info rules.
I TOTALLY expected the Archive and/ or bittorrent link to be up by now. PLEASE...do not tell me that the casino dragged those fricking gggguuuuuuyyyyyys into the abyss???
-
i just want to say thank you everyone for making last nite an epic experience. with ronnie leaving the band it dawned on me just how much i\'ve been taking the band, the fans, the scene, .info, and all that good shit for granted. last nite the air was thick with brosef and the bfam was rolling deep. if everyshow was like that, i think we\'d all be on tour. if anything ever happens to this band, i hope we can continue to rage together and still be the disfunctional family that we are. thanks guys, and give yourselves a round of applause for being part of the serest fanbase ever.
funniest line of the night
Alli: hey ronnie, i think they\'re singing for you
Ron: of course. anytime a guy is singing Boyz II Men it\'s to another guy
oh and one more thing, where the f were you Fiery Bill?
-
I think this one captures a bit of the aura of the night...

hahaha
thats gotta be LATG
got anymore of those?
i cant wait for the ken dvd of this
-
Glady\'s pimp was f\'in insane, and TLATG was incred
one of the best 2nd sets ive ever heard jamming wise...the crowd was so amped
-
theres a little red heart coming off of my pinkie... and boy, my orthodontist would be proud
definitely gonna pull the "best ever" card for that gladys, probably the chase and intension too. the latter two whre jammed out pretty nicely. finally, a chase thats unique from every other version. good job boys. if this is an indicator of the next two shows, i\'mm gonna have to invest in some depends
-
holy shit lex i forgot about how insane chase was...my top version of that for sure...def the best glady\'s ive heard, and prob the best LATG also. great great show
-
hahaha
thats gotta be LATG
got anymore of those?
Yes, that was during TLATG.
finally, a chase thats unique from every other version. good job boys.
  So, I wasn\'t dreaming off in space, apu...
One of these days I\'ll pay a little attention to an opening band I barely know!!!
-
the jam before hard luck was Intension.
-
I: jam > Inner Glimpse, Tribal Funk Affliction > Superfly Phaddy Fat > Tribal Funk Affliction, Intension* > Hard Luck Harry jam
II: Keyboard Solo > Space City Affair > jam > The Chase, Gladys Pimp And Kangaroos With Me > Hard Luck Harry, LDZ
E: The Late And The Great
* with extended bass intro.
-
yea, that was a great show fer ser
2nd set was a beast
mad positive vibes from crowd/band all nite
-
last nite the air was thick with brosef and the bfam was rolling deep.
You said it broseph. The air was also brimming with Breakfast, dripping with jam, and saturated wth ser. Crazy wacky happy funky good times!
This was simply one of the very greatest Breakfast shows I have ever been a part of. For raw crowd energy it might very well be the best ever. It\'s so hard to say for sure but the important thing is that we\'re having the conversation.
Things are so good right now that I\'m reaching the limit on what to say. (I\'m reaching the same point of spiritual overload lately in the NFL thread. (http://www.thebreakfast.info/forum/showpost.php?p=173230&postcount=225)) Both the band and us, the crowd, keep outdoing ourselves show after show. How many times can I get on here and outdo myself trying to capture culminating epic serness? It\'s getting to the point where all there is to do is to put down the keyboard and just say thank you. Thank you to everyone who was there for doing everything you did. And thanks to whatever other forces lined up my life to be with The Breakfast at this time.
Oh yes, the air was also precipitating with Pabst when Walsh dropped a FULL CAN straight onto my domepiece, soaking my whole head and my friend in front of me. Good times. I haven\'t been that drenched in beer since a whole two months ago when the Red Sox won.

i just got done saying to mike how last night probably set a record for most alcohol ever worn by a crowd at a breakfast show. people were soaked!
much more later...
-
also real quick - apologies to those of you who sent setlist inquiries and got no response from me. although i had my phone plugged in all of thursday night and friday during the day, it didn\'t charge and my battery was dead before show time. :(

i\'m doing laundry right now. my pants and the shirt i wore last night smelled like a frat party.
it made me smile.
much love to all of you who made last night very very special.
hugs
-
I kept my clothes clean all night, i don\'t know what you guys are on.
Last night marks the official first time I shed a tear during LDZ. Go Figure!
-
i cried during latg. but that always happens.
-
I can not even begin to put the experience from last night into words. Lexi def came close though, choice words my friend. A very emotional night. The second set had epic writen all over it. And to top it all off a L&TG mosh pit :wah: who\'d a thunk it. Which I beleive may have been the serest Breakfast mosh pit ever. I want to see pictures of that Todd.
-

No worries... I fell asleep about five minutes after I sent that IM. I probably slept better not knowing the specifics of the rager that I missed because of my 1-7 (0-6 in the NE-10 Conference) basketball team.
-
oh - anyone know if the show sold out?
-
The quote of the night though was the black man trying to raise money for Africa outside the venue.
:comes up to walsh and me:
says to walsh: \'you my nigga.\'
says to me: \'you my nigga nigga.\'
that man knew his shit. DARKNESSES!
-
First off....It\'s really funny that there are multiple other reports of being totally drenched in beer because I got what felt like at least a half of can of pabts on the dome when ellis crashed into the pit hahaha.
it was like winning the world series though, the mood was so ecstatic that the drenching actually seemed appropriate.
There was mad love and electricity in the air all night.
Wonerful wonderful vibes and tunage.
The mosh pit was ser.
Best chase ever. Hands down. Never played a version even remotely like it or approaching it in serness.
Witnessing a version like that of any song tells me this band is capable of anything. I mean ANYTHING.
Whole second set was top notch.
From the chase onward to the end of the show was just emotional sensory, blissful, overload.
No point in reviewing it further.
I have only made the following comment once in all my reviews of shows and that was for Jordan\'s last show at beardslee but honestly....
You just had to be there.
Infinite thanks to band.
Bfam, I Love you all.
See you again very soon!
-
rumor has it that it was sold out.
-
wow. the playing was perfect. the segues were unreal. the crowd was possibly the greatest crowd i\'ve ever been a part of. tribal>superfly>tribal. the best intension ever played with an unbelievable segue to hardluck. beautiful in every way.
i liked the way matt came out by himself to start off the second set. love that guy. what a perfect fit for this band. normally i\'d be like, "oh, the chase...good but i wanna hear something else." this one was the master of them all. i mean, what the fuck?!?! then the gladys that was just a complete physical and mental overload in everyway it could have possibly been. i really don\'t know what to say. then to have it go into hard luck, i mean i knew something was gonna go into it, but jesus christ. i liked the little intro to ldz, it made me smile. i got a few emotional chills during that one. i got a lot of those last night.
i don\'t know if anyone really could\'ve guessed TLATG would\'ve encored the show, but man was a hard one to get through. i mean i really don\'t take a lot of lyrics seriously, but i couldn\'t possibly be more grateful to have met all of you. i really mean that. i had to shove it down deep for that line. i would\'ve never gotten together with jen. i would\'ve never met any of you. the times i\'ve had are and were some of the best in my life. i\'ll never forget it. i hope it never ends.
well that\'s it for me. sorry to get all sappy or lame or whatever. dave take all the time you need for this one, my friend.
what a night.
-
<<< looking forward to toads place
-
i\'m looking forward to telling one of my best friends from high school who lives in paris and is only here twice a year that i\'m blowing off her engagement party for toad\'s place.
\'yeah, can we just hang out earlier in the day?\'
-
friends, who needs them?
-
rumor has it that it was sold out.
i bought my tickets for this show a head of time, should i do the same for toads?
{x-posted in the chase forumn}
Other than that, it was a great show. I really have to plan my show days better or something, this was the 3rd show in a row that I almost fell asleep on the way back.
Maybe I\'m getting old.
-
so I wasnt the only one that thought it was one of the best 2nd sets in a long while the jammin was incredible, gave out about 300 hugs to the fam great great show just great
-
I must say, the love in the room was great to see, no matter what point it was in the night...I know I went up to at least 3 different people (ok, so one was Ron) and just told them how much their presence has meant to me. You can\'t just do that at just any band\'s show.
Special thanks for the Boys II Men tribute as the "second encore"...that song was in my head for the rest of the night.
*thinking* Annnnnd, it\'s in my head once again.
"doin\' a little East Coast swing..."
-

the implications can be dangerous.

Friday night was a ton of Fun!!
I started laughing at half way through the second set because it was so damn good and i couldn\'t believe what I was hearing!!!
The Band and the crowd were both fired up. It was the perfect storm for one hell of a memorable show.
I second what OMS said " I really, really love this band"!
Can\'t wait to see the DVD
-
this was the first recording since the freakout where it sounds like there is a really big crowd on the tape...actually i think it sounds even louder than the freakout
-

its amazing how dave captures the sound so well and really minimizes audible chatter during the show but it still sounds super full and ambient and clean. Dobs helped the cause on this night too but dave really deserves all the respect in the world for producing sersiously some of the best sounding live audience recordings ever.
sidenote-has anyone even mentioned the first TFE in almost six months? Have to listen it again but I remember it being pretty tight, also matty ripped it up on levels unkown this night. really strong performance from him all night,
hlh jam is epic.
joc- you were missed. hope to see you before 2007 is dunzo
-
You see a show like this and it squarely hits home the extent to which Ron will be missed. An absolutely unrelenting performance. Every song, a highlight; every jam, a monster. No covers. And who really needed them on a night with the first Matt Tribal and easily the best-ever Intension. And then the second set with Gladys and Harry walking arm and arm. And a raucous crowd, one that was stuffed like sardines and soaked with booze. And appreciative as ever.

well put. i wasn\'t sure whether that was the first matt tribal b/c i missed a few shows, but i sure as shit was happy to hear it. i definitely soaked ppl w/ pbr during gladys, but seems like no one here really minded too much!
-
best jam of 2007.
best hlh ever.
hands down.
-
that was sick...that jam from southbridge last weekend is incredible too
