some really sick musicians. I will wait for Kroop to post details since I think he was in contact with Tim and helped get it together last night at the music conference in Anaheim Ca. .. I know they played Black Napkins with Don Preston, Jake and Kris from Umphreys, Andre from Project Object and also joined by Garaj Mahal members. Great press and Im sure jambands will have a write up about it. Must have sounded great...nice job Tim

Tim really made the call to get in on the jam. I just bugged him about it..
I think it was Jake, Kris and Joel from UM, Kai Echheart of Garaj, Don Preston, Charlie Hitchcock, Andre Chomondley from PO, maybe Pevar and im Loughlin of moe and some dudes from Delta Nove. Obviously not all at once!

Yes I recorded the entire show from the balcony. The recording sounds outstanding. I\'ve been listening to it quite a bit. I should have it ready to distribute in a couple of days. Gongzilla isn\'t on LMA so I can start up a bittorrent for a while.
Time came out inthe second set and played Black Napkins with Andre Chomondeley - guitar, Bon Lozaga - guitar, Jen Z - bass, Don Preston - keys, Jeffrey Villanueva - drums. The vibes player may have been playing still, I\'ll have to listen again to be sure.

that would prolly be Jim from moe. right? unless it was Gongzilla\'s regular. thought jim was supposed to sit in most of the night though.

Jim from moe showed up near the end of set 2. moe was playing at H.O.B. Hollywood that night too. Gongzilla doesn\'t have a regular vibes player anymore. They used to have Benoit Moerlen on vibes and marimba but he isn\'t with them anymore at this time.

Yes I recorded the entire show from the balcony. The recording sounds outstanding. I\'ve been listening to it quite a bit. I should have it ready to distribute in a couple of days. Gongzilla isn\'t on LMA so I can start up a bittorrent for a while.

No Hansford Rowe or Benoit Moerlin any more? Big personnel changes since the early days then. Am even more interested to hear this now, especially as I read somewhere yesterday that Daevid Allen of Gong may well be touring soon with his University of Errors. Got me going all Canterbury again!!

Hansford is still playing with them. They just had Jen Z sitting in at the time (for Black Napkins and Peaches I believe). Hansford played bass most of the night.
