our "perfect margarita:"
Juice of 1 blood orange
2 oz. Tequila - Sauza blanco
.5 oz. Cointreau
.5 oz. triple sec - or, Grand Marnier, if you have it! (we didn\'t)
1 oz. lime juice
4 oz. sweet & sour
ice - on the rocks, not crushed.
mix & serve.
My "perfect margarita" of choice=
2 oz. Patron
1 oz. Cointreau
1 oz. Grand Marnier
Juice of one lime
Rocks
Now that\'s more like it.
Yeah, I agree. I think sour mix has no place in a real margarita. And I think as far as the Cointreau, Grand Marnier goes... You only need one of these (they\'re both a blend of bitter and sweet orange, right?) But I suppose if you
prefer both you still would have a delicious margarita.
I\'m sure they\'re good with a bit of blood orange juice in there too.
