im very pleased to announced that your and my favorite rock and roll band has finally accomplished something thatll put their asses on the map for sure.word from nyc is the breakfast won and the place went nuts and everyone is fucking happy!!!!ps.in case you forgot,robrandolph won this award last year!looks like breakfast might be spreadin!!!!

Dude, you should have seen the place. PB was one of the last to be announced and the place just went nuts!! All the other bands were semi silent, but when they announced The Breakfast (formerly Psychedelic Breakfast) the place just exploded.
You should have seen them on stage, they didn\'t know were to start!! They were so pumped!!! The crowd let them know it too, they were loud and screaming Breakfast!!!!
This was prob one of the best ways to kick off a tour!!

i was so nervous last night at the show when best new groove was being announced. it was ridiculous to hear that pb won. my friends and i stood on our seats and were screaming \'the breakfast!!!\' as tim was giviing his acceptance speech. it was ABSOLUTELY UNREAL!!!!!!!! couldn\'t really believe it for quite some time. rock on to them!

I got So Cal on lock down and spreading the news up North. This win will make it a lot easier to get people to listen to me when I start blabbing abt the guyz. i don\'t know where to begin..... I think those of us who have been involved in this organization for awhile have waited for this day. If I\'ve ever been negative its because I\'ve wanted nothing but sucess for one of my favorite bands of all time. A band whose talent, friendliness and overall mindblowing energy helped me out through some rough times. I\'ve been frusterated that it took this long, but hey IT FUCKING HAPPENED!!! The boys deserve every fucking penny that they earn on this new tour. I\'m actually in fucking tears right now writing this..... Those pictures speak words I can\'t translate..... man after hearing the awards on cd i must say it sounds like the crowd really does appreciate this \'NEW\' band. but seriously, where did all this support and appreciation come from all of a sudden?? Well it really doesnt matter why or where it came from, but nobody wanted to know these guys or even consider them a serious band last year around this time, and as warm and excited as it makes me feel for the band, the applause is almost as surprising as the win. The show sounds sweet though, except i was waiting for one of the guys to just go up to the mic and give a good loud \'WAH WAH\' for old times sake, and for one dedicated fan of the band... so on behalf of PB fans, thanks for all the flyering and for burning people and myself all the disks and for carrying in tons of shit at all the gigs, and for spreading the word, and for bein a great pb P.R. person and friend!!!!

lions den is in the heart of the village/so it gets at least 20 ppl walking in off the street/it does a lot of its own promotion/it has a good rep with jam band fans/it\'s close to really good falafal (spelling??) joints .... if i think of more reasons i\'ll let ya know

i was thinking more just about the venue....didn\'t consider the neighborhood...parking is always a drag in the village...but you don\'t have that problem...good points about promotion and rep within the community...and maybe the beers aren\'t 6 bucks

So when the fourth annual Jammys were held last week, in the Theatre at Madison Square Garden, it was somewhat surprising to see, taped to the wall of every dressing room, a strict agenda of the evening’s performances. The intervals were generous but precise; an outfit called Assembly of Dust was scheduled to play from 8:28 to 8:53, at which point they would vacate the stage for the presentation of the New Groove award. This Jammy went to Psychedelic Breakfast, which beat out Raisinhill and the Hot Buttered Rum String Band, among others. The trophy itself is a golden guitar neck in the shape of the letter “J.”
